Spn 2631 fmi 1
low intake air pressure
this code refers to a low press in the intake manifold while the engine is requesting more power
possible caused are
bad egr delta p sensor
egr tube low flow
cac leaks
exhaust leaks
intake press leak
throttle valve stuck close
bad air filter
broken turbo
This problem is going to be similar for all trucks

I had this same issue after the boys at the Wildwood FL truck wash cleaned my engine bay. They sprayed the DPS too close and water logged it. After cleaning it out with a piece of wire and some compressed air it still threw the code. So I had to buy a new sensor. Worked like a charm after that. We all like a clean engine bay, but you got to watch them folks. They don't know what they don't know. Thanks for your videos Amaya, you've helped me more than once. 😎👍🏼😎👍🏼😎👍🏼

cut off that zip tie and throw it in a electric drill and use that to clean out the delta-p sensor ports. works like a charm.

I lift out the egr pipe first from cab side my man ! Pull up then front comes out by twisting when pulling up. Very easy out !

Francisco .tengo un problema con el compresor del aire o quizás con el air driyer.no corta @125 psi.se pasa de los 125 y se va alas válvulas de escape para soltar el aire.ya le cambiaron el secador y yo le cambie la válvula del compresor y sige el problema k no corta a los 125.se va de paso a 135.regule el gobernador y no me deja calibrarlo a 125 si lo dejó a 125 tira todo el aire con el motor andando.

Pague para un rebuild completo de metales y cabezas y el taller en El Paso me dijo que tronaron el motor cuando lo encendieron, ahora me quede sin motor y el dueno me dice que me pondra uno usado y los $15,000.00 que le di los perdi... Me siento defraudado y ahora estoy un mes sin trabajar y sin como proveer para mi familia... Yo le dije al mecanico que viera sus videos porque son muy informativos sobre el DD15 y para hacer un overhaul es muy dificil, pero creo que no lo convenci. Ahora tengo mi camion 2013 Cascadia en el taller y esperando que le ponga ese motor usado y todas las partes que compre sera en vano.... Porfavor ayudeme si me puede aconsejar, se lo agradeceria con mi vida....

Eso es muy malo, cuando un mecanico no sabe lo que hace y no lo acepta, es peor. Lo siento mucho de escuchar eso. No se trata que si el mecanico sabe hacer el trabajo o no, se trata que el mecanico este completamente seguro de lo que hace. Como se llama el taller?
