S1 E7 The actual Route 66 Tour has begun, as I hit the open road

My actual drive along the legendary Route 66 has started, as I leave the comfort of my cousin's home in Chicago IL and hit the open road. First stop is the Launching Pad in Wilmington, IL where I grab my Route 66 Passport, a map, and some souvenirs. After a short hop, I stopped over at the Illinois Route 66 Museum in Pontiac, IL, take a fabulous picture of my rig in front of the Route 66 Mural, and drive onwards to my first Boondockers Welcome host site in Lincoln, IL. enjoying ur videos waseem bahi , some suggestions. 1}-date n time on videos would be good add-on. 2}-i personally enjoys stories. that's y we watch Ashir Azeem videos n came to ur channel after seeing u there telling interesting stories. if u share anecdotes about ur life or stories about the things like (the route 66 sign 15:09 or the corner shop, the apps or people who u will show in videos) . or u could add a segment in the video u tell ur biography from start till now y ur on the journey in each episode u tell a small part of it that will give it a personal touch to the videos audience will connect with u more. 3.} make thumbnail little more vibrant n saturated and have a shady text background that will make test more visible (because on drak background thumbnail test is readable but not on bright ones). 4}- if u wanna increase audience be consistent and mindful of the KZbin analytics. GOODLUCK 😊n enjoy the journey❤❤

Asalamoalaikum Waseem. I was wondering how you learned all the skills required to design your own RV? Indeed a remarkable achievement! Can you share a brief list of some skills that you had to learn during the process?

Abbas, I had zero skills in carpentry, electrical, heating, plumbing, gas lines, brake lines, painting, welding, riveting … anything at all that was required in building this RV. But I was very confident of my ability to learn, the knowledge available on the internet, the support of a few of my friends who were engineers themselves, and a group of fellow builders in Canada around my area who were also building the same RV themselves.

A. A This might be one of the best VLOGs since you hit the road; great editing, content, and a little bit of everything. I am assuming that your action camera settings for sharpness is set to high, maybe get it low or off (give it a test try); it provides a lot of boost to the video quality after being compressed by KZbin. It's subjective. :) Stay safe and cherish the moments.

So, the first thing I did was to see it in the morning. Enjoyed your casual style and appreciated your admitting the failures (not many people do that, rather they brag about things they actually did NOT do). I have one suggestion, but I would rather tell you later as it is not urgent and only deals with aesthetic aspect. Being an art dilettante, it bothers me every time I see your video 🤣🤣but don't take it to heart as maybe it's just me or maybe you have a very good reason for that which I am not aware of. Godspeed!

@@WaseemSyed As I said nothing urgent (and you can't fix it during this trip even if you want it). It has to do with the color of the RV. It should have been really colorful, bright and some very interesting and unique pattern/logo. People should know from miles away that "this is the RV of Syed Muhammad Waseem Khan Kakakhel". The top should also have a color that stands out and should not merge with anything else so that drone shots are even better. I can give you more details later when you come back, and we can discuss it. Again, you may have your reasons which trump mine :)

@@IamGPSGuy hmmm, can I disagree? 😊 I made a deliberate attempt to keep it as low key as possible. The military green was to blend it with the wilds in which I truly want to camp. I didn’t want to put any signage, first because I dont like it, and second, because it wont help anyways. My content is in urdu and advertising it on the road for american and canadian eyes would not have meant for anything. I guess I am not a “die-hard” youtuber 😂 But I’m still open to counter debate 👍🏼

Sadly there is no free camping spaces in Pakistan... besides this u park ur car along roadside u have to pay for it... Free camping is best option to promote tourism in Pakistan.
