Have you ever asked the questions Who am I? What is my purpose?
We all, at one point in our lives, question our identity. What am I here for?
Each of us has a unique way of thinking, choosing and feeling--no two minds are alike! Our identity, our Perfect You, is a unique reflection of the divine--a gift only we can give to the world.
In this episode I discuss the nature of identity, how you can find out who you are at your core and what your purpose is, and how to live out your purpose and discover the perfect version of yourself!
Tune in every Wednesday for new episodes!

You help me so much.. Going through an extremely difficult time right now. I'm 68 & a Christian on social security living for month in RV trailer, moved 7 times since August 5 1/2 months ago, had to shut off propane as there's leak or something somewhere in RV, but I'll just boil some water through the coffee maker to take a shower. Live in a very small town, no one seems to care, not even the Landlord. Trusting God to help me, been a Christian for 50 yrs. Love Jesus with all my heart..you help my brain deal with all the trauma and drama I've been through lately.. My dog died 5 months ago, have no family, but I have God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Faith... I'm rich. 🙏

I am a single mom of 4..survived domestic violence and went through 10 years of custody battles and psych evaluations from my ex who kept the abuse going through the courts. Your expertise and help has saved me from breaking down. I am now wondering what my purpose is here, besides bringing my children up in the Lord. I am sane thank God, and I thank God for you Dr Leaf

Janna Depue I know that God has been helping me to know what He created me for, & I know that He will help you too! It says in His Word ask & it will be answered, seek & you will find, & knock & it will be opened unto you, just ask Him. Maybe you could help others who've experienced abusive relationships to find healing? I know that from my own experience, that every single thing that I've gone through can help someone else, & that He didn't make it happen, but that He is using it for His good, mine, & by Him getting the glory through me helping others. May God continue to bless and cover you and your family!!! 💜 💜 💜

Janna Depue you're very welcome! God doesn't ordain our painful circumstances, but He will ALWAYS get good out of them if we allow Him to. I now see my painful past as God being able to trust me with being able to not only get THROUGH those painful situations, but to OVERCOME them and THEN to be able to share them with others in a way that helps them & glorifies Him! I believe with EVERYTHING in me, that is true in your case as well! We give satan a black eye when we use what he meant for harm and to take us out, to help others & give God the glory!!! You are MORE than an overcomer through God who loves you! We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony! May God continue to bless and cover you, & may He help you to come to terms (& receive the FULL restoration that Jesus died to give us) and enable you to help others that can relate to your testimony as well! It's NEVER ok to have to go through what you went through, & I am SO VERY sorry that you did!!! You DID though, & THAT means you have a God-given purpose! I pray that you walk in it BOLDLY and POWERFULLY as the DEEPLY loved and accepted woman of God that He created you to be!!! 💜 💜 💜

Bridget Moses I can see Jesus in you 😀 I really really have a passion to help others going through this but dont know how. I have been "magnifying God" and not my circumstances, as I do this I am growing spiritually and more able to hear from God.

Dr. Caroline Leaf I have been following your work for a few weeks now and its really changing my outlook on life. What seemed hopeless to me these past few months are not so threatening now. Thank you so much for your work that help people like me who go through hopelessness and negative mindsets. I am reading the 21 Day Detox book and I’ve reached chapter 9 and I’m so excited to finally apply the 5 steps you have there for us. And more excited to get my hands on The Perfect You book! God bless you Dr. Leaf!

Love is the default simply because it is our number one "addiction"....it is what we all need...agape love...the love of the Father...and when we are in it, then we are of it...and that will definitely change the physical shape of things we cannot see...forgiveness helps with the ability to smile...ever notice someone's face when you genuinely smile at them? Let's get out of the "box"...know who we are in the Father...we just have to ask...He has a plan for each of us...it even said so in Jeremiah...I've made a whole bunch of "lousy someone else-s...I added the -s because I did it for so long and tried to make it many more than just one someone else, no more..no more...I feel stressed when I have to get honest about myself, so this is going to be a real trip!... Don't know about you guys, but I'm fed up with trying to be someone else...forward march!

Susan and Marc Hebert I agree with you completely! We make lousy someone "else's", but we function best (& so does the rest of the world around us) when we are the unique, quirky, genuine people that God created us to be. He designed each one of us to be an AMAZING part of His plan, & we can only do that when we are the most authentic version of ourself possible! We actually "unlock" our destiny that He created us for before he laid the foundation of the Earth, when we walk in the authenticity of who He created us to be! We each have something PHENOMENAL to offer the world around us, & there isn't a single person on the Earth that can do what we do in the exact same unique way that we do it. Our purpose may not look like someone else's, but that doesn't mean that it's any LESS important or impactfull than the next person's! When we're walking/living as the HIGHEST version of ourselves, we're EXTREMELY successful and it's AMAZINGLY fulfilling! When we stand before God we are only going to be accountable for our OWN lives. If we spend most of our time trying to be like someone else, then we sacrifice our own destiny! May God continue to bless and cover you as He leads you into the manifestation of who He created you to be! 💜 💜 💜

I like "quirky"! Quirky is good! I am thrilled and encouraged by what you said here! I am now "armed"...I am a veteran, and I am soon leaving to meet with a brother veteran and very good friend of mine. He is truly a broken man. He's seen a lot, but today, YES TODAY....he will be surrendering his heart to the LORD of all lords, the KING of kings...the REAL FATHER on this "father's day"...I will be telling him about what you have said above simply because it is truth!!!!! Soldier on sister!

"Discomfort zones is a physical reaction in your brain and body in response to when you step out of your perfect you" they help us to identify when we are no longer operating in our Perfect You design. The Perfect You is always changing and developing. A discomfort zone can be a stress response. Stress response is your body telling you that something is going on. Listen to that response. Learn to self regulate, learn to self evaluate, self reflect. When you do that, it takes you to your thought life. Evaluate your thinking, choosing, etc. When you make the right choice you get a sense of peace. As you go through life and learn to understand yourself and your body's reactions you can identify your purpose, become motivated and achieve what you want to achieve" A study found that "Differences often categorized as psychiatric illnesses may instead be strengths depending on a person's context."

Dr. Leaf, this is incredible! I’m dealing with terrible anxiety & negative emotions from past hurts but I’m starting to work on rewiring my mind. Thank you for sharing your wisdom & changing lives! Also, have you or would you consider releasing an affirmation cd/mp3? Or even just posting a guided affirmations video? I think that would help many including myself! :) God bless

From my experience of cutting carbs that low it made me more emotional and I’ve heard it messes up the thyroid. In researching all I can on adrenal fatigue I am giving the Trim Healthy Mama a try. They aren’t Dr.’s but share their experiences with adrenal fatigue and discuss how the good healthy carbs actually nourish the adrenals. I love Dr. Axe & Dr. Berg and have asked them the same question but haven’t received a response as of yet.
