S1 - Ep 288 - Haarlem - A Small Village Located in the Langkloof!

As we made our way towards the small village of Haarlem, we saw an old railway bridge in the distance which caught our attention. Although it's not in use anymore, we were both intrigued and decided to go explore it. It turns out that the Apple Express used to go over this bridge back in the day, and we were transported back in time when we found it. The sight was simply beautiful, and we were glad we took the time to investigate. As we entered the village, we found the old Lutheran Church with an incredible history. I went inside, and I was blown away by the character and beauty of the building. The church was so charming, and I could not help but admire its architecture. I was thrilled to hear that there were plans to renovate it. As we continued driving through the streets and roads, we came across the old Haarlem Station. Although it is not functional anymore, we read up on some of the history of the Apple Express, which was very interesting. We learnt so much about the village and its history, and we were fascinated by it all. Overall, it was an amazing experience exploring the village of Haarlem in the Langkloof. The scenery was stunning, and the history was intriguing. I am so glad we had the opportunity to visit this charming little village and learn more about its fascinating past.
