P59 PCM, pedal, and TAC module from an 03+ truck will work fine for your LS1. The PCM can control it and you can get everything from a junkyard. Just make sure it's from the same truck. the P59 is even newer yet and opens up more options like ethanol sensors and several other things. P59 PCM's are the Blue/Green connectors.

Thanks for that knowledge, but I had already decided to go with the DBC 0411 and have since picked a throttle body, cable, and have them installed. Should work flawlessly for my needs

Tom, what was the Dorman part# for the P/S pulley? Do you remember what year the C4 return line came from? Everything OK after getting it running? Thanks, Bill

What harness did you end up getting having the same problem with the original wire harness. Did you keep the original pcm or did you buy that as well.. 🤔

The 0411 PCM shown in this video is the one I purchased and had tuned to upgrade the 98. I went with the plug-and-play harness through Current Performance Wiring. Still waiting on it, so I can't give any feedback on it just yet

Those were some MSD wires, but I ended up getting some Holley wires with 45s on both sides (meant for LS3) and they're not as hard up against the steering shaft. Still tight though

Old truck and you dont have to do emissions test. Should have just done a 350 carb or Sniper EFI and been done with it. You're going to be chasing bugs forever clowning with all the LS garbage.
