S10 ROLL CAGE INSTALL

Installation of an S&W 10 Point roll cage in the project truck. Didn't do the down bars in the back, but might add those at a later date.

Been doing this stuff for 40 years now. Not saying I am an expert, but done a few of these (46 to be exact) and I have yet to see the care and quality of labor to go into each step. I would be proud to have some work you did on my trucks. Great stuff! I couldn't imagine what you could do with a shop full of top tools!!

Thanks man I appreciate it! 🙏🏾 The rear on this truck is just a fabricated ford 9 inch from quick performance. You can order it from them in the exact length as the original s10 rear end.

I know thos video is old but what i did ony old s10 on the outriggers was drill a hole for the tubing to drop down in to. Not sure if it makes it stronger but makes the main hoop stay in place if your working by youself.

That’s not a bad idea, because like you said it’s definitely a pain when you’re doing it all by yourself. I’ll keep it in mind for the future.

I don’t have the part number but it’s just regular square mild steel tubing, should be able to order it from plenty of different sources online.
