I had similar power steering issue.... found it it was from the harmonics from the solid mount of everything else, swapped the rack out and had bushings installed to absorb the harmonics and so far so good ....

Credit where it’s due. I know mike edited the video but when ever you spoke about the issues with the car and anything you always said “we, we’re or the team” unlike a few people in racing or motorsports in general who say “I” who tend to be rather stuck up. Humble drivers like you’re self always gain a bigger following and always are the people you learn most from so thank you for being humble adam makes seeing you drive and gain success so much more enjoyable knowing that you’d fully commit to pushing you’re whole team and the guys we don’t see in videos who helped with the builds of all your cars and make sure they get there credit too. Makes every video so much more likeable and makes the car scene in general look better even tho there’s a lot of bad things documented and shown on media

Don't know if it's a 2jz s15 thing but pitor wiecek and James Dean s15 both had issue with failing power steering, maybe something to look into as it cost them some rounds i think in the 2018 season.

Power steering is so demanding in a drift car with the alignment and tires they run as well as knuckle geometry the loads are astronomically higher, jz have been notorious for ps issues with the mounts on the pump flexing I’m sure they are on billet mounts on the pro cars, I know james just pulled it off and tried one electric pump and then went to a double pump system on his e92. Interesting stuff would be nice to get some more info in the solutions as it’s a problem for a lot of cars when you start going fast with a decent amount of grip

If it were me I'd being doing it for the experience, seat time with great drivers can only bring the best out of him and highlight his mistakes/flaws. No one can deny he is a excellent driver but No one can deny he isn't on the level of some of the other pro 1 drivers.. Not that it matters because we only have one life and Adam is living his best life and IMO he makes some of the best content on KZbin.
