I loved this revisit of Lost Girl S1:E3 with Anna and Ksenia! The BFF chemistry between Bo and Kenzi was so genuine and I truly hope they get the chance to work together again in the near future as Anna and Ksenia or Bo and Kenzi. 💕

Everyone would always ask what relationship was my favourite Lauren and Bo, Dyson and Bo or Tamsin and Bo. My answer was neither of these as it was always Kenzi and Bo. Their friendship is complete friendship goals. I loved how they just became sisters and cared so much for each other. Obviously when asked about the romantic relationship my answer was Lauren and Bo.

Oh damn, I sorta remember this episode too and how much I enjoyed your relationship in it & Ksenia’s amazing character & personality showcased in it! This podcast is such a major throwback! I remember discovering Lost Girl and diving deep into it right after I binge watched the L word & realised I’m a lesbian. I couldn’t have asked for anything better at that phase of my life. And I came out to my sister and told her about Lost Girl and then we watched the full series together and it was so amazing to have this show to share with her and these identities and characters bonded and so did my sis & I in a new way.

I must say that I discovered Lost Girl too late. As a bisexual woman myself, I was immediately hooked by Bo's story, I adored her endearing friendship\sisterhood with Kenzi and her romance with both Lauren and Dyson, so much, I didn't know who to ship her with lol I would love to see them do a remake of the show, but at the same time I don't want to, since I consider it pretty much perfect, all the paranormal creatures and their respective investigative cases only added more flavor to the plot, and by the way they inspired me as a fantasy writer to write a story about a bisexual succubus, but in her case, in love with the goddess Isis reincarnated as a witch

My first teenage obsession, I made whoever would listen watch it with me or told every detail I could remember to get them to watch. I was just coming into understanding my own sexuality and this show gave me confidence. Kenzie's humor matched mine and Bo's relationship with Lauren was everything to my lesbian heart. The first time I'd ever seen an episode of Lost Girl was on SyFy in the US. It was either late first season or early second season. Instantly loved the rapport btwn Bo and Kenzi, watched all the episodes from the rest of the seasons as they aired, bought DVD box sets, and I rewatch the entire series about once a year.

Just occurred to me that Kenzie’s character was probably named for Ksenia’s real-life name. Happens alot in cinema. For example Charlie Sheen was named “Charlie” in several roles he played over the years

This show was SO unique. I hate it got cancelled. Bo was such a tragic chatacter. She reminded me of Rogue from X-men (the comic book 📖 version --- N🚫T the whack-a$$ movies) in that she couldn't touch people without draining them of their life force just by making skin-2-skin contact. However, Rogue's powers activated involuntarily anytime she touched a person, but Bo could control it for the most part except for when she gets, um, "overly stimulated" shall we say?? In the beginning of the series, Bo knowing she's been different since childhood (same as me) but having no idea HOW different she was til later in the episode. And she was adopted & didn't know her parents --- same as me. She was bi --- I am gay. I just really connected with her on so many levels, along with Anna's portrayal of her vulnerability, yet constantly having to push through her pain and put on this front of strength.

Thank you, I have to admit, I didn't really like Kenzi to much, I think because she was so rude to Lauren (Zoie). Also I think I was more like her than I wanted to admit! My daughter Zoey was at a restaurant and a waitress was like oh my God, Kenzi! Asking her if she knew Lost Girl? Zoey had dyed her hair dark and she has very blue eyes. Again thank you, Peace Beth
