This video was taken on September 6, 2022 in the afternoon. The zoo informed the public that Momoko was reunited with the troop on the previous day of September 5 when the zoo was closed. When I rushed to the zoo to see Momoko with the troop, it was the time when the family was to go back to the indoor room so that their keepers could clean the exhibit and distribute their snacks at the same time. Then the family comes back to enjoy yogurts, eggplants, paprikas, cucumbers, iced fruits and tomatoes. Momoko was looking very fine, and the troop was so calm. I hope you enjoy the recent footage of the Haoko family.

What a beautiful video! I was able to go to the zoo's website and get an update, and peek at Momoko's baby. 🥰 OMG so very cute! 3:02 Look at 💙 Haoko with pearl white lips 😆. 3:52 Glad the ever so lovely 🌸 Momoko's anemia has greatly improved, but she is on continued meds. Thank the Lord for the staff who worked so very diligently towards getting her well so she could rejoin the troop! Haoko couldn't function well without his wife. He 😘 loves him some Momoko. Shows how significantly strong a 🦍 gorilla bond is 😌. Momoko is gaining her weight back, and her appetite is good. 5:24 😁 Sure seems that way here. 6:00 🤭 Haoko is casually 🧐 staring at Toto's lovely sugar hips. 6:24 😷 Looks like a "green" respirator 🤣.

I am so happy to see Momoko back with her family looking quite healthy. Thank you God! Thank you to all the medical staff and keepers. I love this family. I found out about Momoko through her son Momotaro whom l also love. Haoko looks like his old self now that his wife is back. To all the fans around the world we can smile a little bit more. Yes it is a great feeling to see family together again and everyone seems happy and content. Haoko seems really relaxed. I am sure Toto was happy and now hopefully Haoko will give her peace. I was surprise that Riki took Mama’s cucumber out of her mouth. I wonder if Riki will remain close to Toto now that Momoko has returned. I cannot wait for baby to return. Dear Momoko looks really good ( not a compliment🤗) it is the truth. She put on some weight. I also LOVE the beginning of the video. The family is snacking wile listening to a cool relaxing music. And then from 4:12 the new music says it all. Momoko the Queen is baaaaack!😘 That being said I also thank the keepers and carers who took care (and still do) of Momoko and her baby..

Thank God she's back! But, the way the troop behaved when she was gone made me think, they are this distraught over their mother being sick, sometimes at least still visible to them, how will they react when she dies some day? I had a 15-1/2 yr old mid size yorkie that had to be put down this summer. Immediately after her death my husband took her to the car, so our 4 huskies, might understand why she's not coming back. You know so that they don't continuously look or wait for her. So when a gorilla dies, especially in a zoo, do they let family members experience it the way my huskies did? One of my huskies, looked at her and walked away, 2 stayed close to her and the fourth, gave her kisses. I didn't witness it, I was quite upset, but my husband was right, they didn't search for her after that. So is it the same with gorillas and if hes, is it the same when they are in a zoo?

I wonder what happened to the Zoo’s plan to unite Momoko and the baby inside first and then integrate them both with the family after that? Also, do you know if there’s any plan, Karin, to unite Komoko with Monta at the Chiba zoo?

I wonder too. The zoo has updated about the baby on their website. I just finished translating it. They don't mention about what happened to the plan. I could only guess that either there was a miscommunication between the director and the keepers or the keepers tried to return the baby to Momoko but failed. Or they may be thinking to return the baby to Momoko while she is with the troop.....🤔 kzbin.infocommunity

Momoko became anemia before she gave birth to Sumomo (the baby). After giving birth, Momoko didn't breastfeed Sumomo, so Sumomo has been under the care of the keepers. Momoko was separated from the troop for treatment. Recently Momoko reunited with the troop due to the progress of her condition. Sumomo is still cared by the keeper.
