Nat. Thanks for the video. I’m traveling with two dogs and find it challenging at times, so good tips. If I may suggest you get some disposable gloves for handling the black tank duties. Best, Jim

When rinsing your sewer hose, use a different hose other than the hose used to fill up water jugs for personal use

It might be a good idea to use disposable gloves when handling your sewer hose. 👍

Keep the water hose away from the dump area. Don't let it rest on the ground there. I agree with others. Gloves. I keep mine with the water hose.

Wear Gloves 🧤filling up the truck with fuel and when dumping the tanks. DEF is basically cow pee. Sewer dump sites are usually, ummmm yeah. Not ever clean.

My dog also likes to poop on top of bushes. It's ridiculous. Excited to see how you handle three of them in a camper - my two pups are a handful!!

I'm so glad mine are the only silly ones. 😁 mine are a handful too but they seem to enjoy what I'm doing. As I type this, one of my dogs is curled up on my arm, the other by my feet, and the third just messed up my made bed to get comfortable in the pillows. Never a dull moment lol.

thank you for LOVING your dogs and making it work during your travel and adventures. We have 4 dogs and it can be very challenging, but when you love them, it doesn't matter how inconvenient life can be, so long as your babies are with you. Keeping them safe is paramount

It is not really the safest thing to drive with a dog attached by his neck collar. If you stopped suddenly or (god forbid) have a accident then your dog could seriously injured his throat or even break his neck. I am really sorry I am such a negative Nancy! I had one dog that that was never a good listener so I had a harness and attachment perm attached on my truck seat ready to use for him. I really like your videos! I lost both my dogs this year due to health issues but when we went camping I always tied them up - and spent a LOT of time untangling them. I have sworn that I will properly train my next dogs to obey my commands as it will give all of us more freedom. This is, of course, what I tell myself 😂

Lightly dampen any wood prior to gorilla glue and always use sparingly....keeps from crazy expansion. I am both jealous and envious of your travels. I'd recommend some gloves from harbor freight for dumping those tanks...Seems like the second I pull in to dump...some guy is behind me impatiently waiting. Good job! I'm a big fan of slow draining my gray w a lil open trickle...people freak out if u tell them but for years it was pretty common.

Most truck stops like Love's have DEF fluid at the pumps. Very few, if any regular gas stations do. Just got back from New York Friday, and had to get DEF 6 times on that 3000 mile trip with my truck camper on.

That sounds about right! LOL I just drove from Idaho to Kentucky and had to fill up a lot! I guess I need to get an adapter because the nozzles are too big for my inserter. I have to use the actual boxes with the cheap hose and that's a pain for me LOL.

@@NatMoran It's cheaper at the pumps at truck stops than buying the 2.5 gallon containers.

Hi there, Enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing. I’m planning on traveling with 2 senior GSDs this fall, great to get some tips and real world experiences . Do you find many parks that have restrictions about GSDs? And just adding to previous comments - Holy mollie! Get some good chemical gloves and separate hoses to use for water and tank flush when dumping tanks. Someone watching this video may be your next dinner guest😂. Best regards, Jim

I doubt that super glue will be good for the long term. Wood glue is what you want for fixing wood. Time will tell, though. Good idea, using that bungie cord to clamp it. Oh, and a little tip: Try lying on a diagonal in your hammock, and see if that's more comfortable.
@NatMoran

Yeah one bump and it was on the floor. I'm rocking an open concept right now 🤣 I plan to do some fixing and remodeling in the next couple weeks so it'll get fixed soon ... hopefully. Lol
@Hare_deLune
@Hare_deLune 3 жыл бұрын
@@NatMoran You can run some rope, bungie cord, or even duct tape across the front to keep things from falling out. ~_^ Oh! One more thing: If the cabinet door is thin, try gluing a thin bracing strip over the crack on the inside if you glue it again. Even a good, strong glue needs a bit of surface area to grip well.

Could you give more information about those long leads you mentioned that are attached to your camper for the dogs? The captions said 325 ft but is that accurate? I'd love to get that product myself!
@NatMoran
@NatMoran 3 жыл бұрын
Lol idk where those captions came from. That's funny. I just went to Petco and got a 25ft lead for each dog. They work really well and aren't too long/short. I [now] use a hook on each leash to connect to the lead so I don't have to disconnect the lead when taking them off. It's the simple things.

I’m thinking of doing this with a pitbull and a teardrop, or some variation. I’ve been trying to see how to do it with one, i found someone who does it with 3. What are the biggest cons of doing this with dogs? If I did this I would have to work various jobs sometimes. I want to make sure he’s safe if I have to go somewhere he can’t for a little while.

I get that you love your puppies, but I feel sorry for them locked up so much in that tiny space. Do they ever get to get out and have a good run? Tied to ropes, no matter how long, doesn’t seem good for them…not enough exercise, and claustrophobic…
@NatMoran
@NatMoran 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I really appreciate that people care about my doggies too. My boys are my number one priority. I take them to dog parks and let them run around all the time. They go hiking, trail running, and if we're alone (no other people around) I let them off leash. We also go find rivers and lakes to play in, so they're not living in a claustrophobic environment. In fact, I rescued one dog from an environment where he lived full-time in a dog crate. If anyone understands how important their exercise is, it's me. I battled with the idea on doing this bc of exactly what you mention and they're valid points! This isn't for every dog. Thankfully, I know my dogs (oldest is going on 10) and even when I had more space, they were right on top of me or at my feet. They never roamed to the other room or anything. They are so happy compared to living in a house with a backyard. I wouldn't worry about them, they're having fun sniffing new bushes, peeing on new rocks, and hiking different trails all the time. 🥰
