Next stop Naracoorte, we checked out Bordertown to see where Bob Hawke lived as a youngster and the albino kangaroos. In Naracoorte, we did some bush walking and checked out one of the world heritage caves. On our bush walk out to Stoney Point we saw lots of wombat burrows and square wombat poop, but no wombats. We are still hoping to see a wombat and an echidna on our travels. Fingers crossed. Our next stop was on the Limestone Coast at a free camp- Granites Carpark. During our stay, it was quite windy. Beach walks and cockle (pippies) digging filled our days. Adam has rediscovered his enjoyment of eating them. 🤢 We also found some cool shells on the beach as well as a filleting knife, a hammer, and a $2 coin. Must of fallen out of someone's 4x4. We then headed to Kingston SE for 6 days for the Christmas break. Did the usual sightseeing around the area. Very quiet Christmas and Boxing Day for us this year.
