When Sam saw Meghan swim casually away and begin playing out that CLASSIC Oh No HELP Me damsel in distress number just as he suggested i thought both their romance movie moment dreams were coming true. Sams face when he saw her, he knew what she was doing and dove down grinning ear to ear to rescue his fair maiden. The BEST! It must have been a confusing moment for the team but they got it wrong this time. We all live and learn, hopefully to be more sensitive and not jump to conclusions. She was probably very stressed from traveling, or thinking one of the other people were in grave danger “because Sam was messing around” (which we all know he wasn’t). I’m sure he was apologized to and they explained their side. I’m sure he forgave them. It doesn’t justify it at all. It was abusive, disgusting, and irresponsible. They were negligent in not watching, and him even having to respond in the first place shows that. But still.. I don’t think we should write someone off entirely over one incident..

If Megan wasn't pretending to drown, no one else did anything to help her while she was coughing but they were quick to berate the young lad when he did try to help. Not saying he didn't do anything wrong but to turn around and hit him with words like 'you're no strong enough to save her' feel way out of proportion to what actually transpired. If she was pretending, that just made the entire situation that much more overblown and unnecessarily cruel.
