With the falcons roster in 2025 the worst part will be Niko and Monesy not playing together. When you watch them play on lan and embrace eachother you would think that he is Nikos little brother. The thing is simple is the highest level of pure excellence ever seen in a counter strike game I do understand Navi has been able to win without him but does that really mean they will find more success without him. Do people forget when Navi would force but give this guy a AK when 4 others had handguns and he would just demolish the round and win the round on his own I don’t really get why people act like simple can’t rifle. He has some of the best handgun usage ever remember one of his most famous clips ever was throwing a awp over the wall and killing somebody with a handgun I don’t think any team can ever say that adding simple isn’t a upgrade people are just diluted by not seeing him play I think someone that good with that complete of a game will always be a upgrade too any roster. People forget players like monesy wouldn’t exist if simple wasn’t so excellent do people remember when he was called simple jr yes he’s done it on big stages since that time but even someone considered the best in the world right now was never as good as simple it’s just crazy to even have to argue simple deserves a spot. The most satisfying thing that could ever happen would be a repeat of liquid when he mega carried them I am always gonna be on simple side for being the single hardest carry ever and just the most complete player we will ever see

None of them have the aura of s1mple in his prime, when their teammates aren't pulling their own weight their teams never win. Meanwhile s1mple used to brute force the wins single-handedly in any version of NAVI with some absolute bots at the time. To be fair, Thorin also said he will be top 5 which is absolutely possible, he was #7 in 2023 when everyone agreed he had a weak year by his standards. But if Falcons are really good I don't think it's implausible that he can contend for no. 1.

s1mple definitely has the obsession towards the game itself to grind again, but truth be told there's no telling if he'll be able to reach the absolutely insane peaks he hit in GO. HOWEVER, even a fraction of that level would make him more than good enough to hang in tier1, at which point it comes down to how quickly he can adapt to a new team, especially when you're still not that used to international lineups speaking english. That's the real crux of this situation for me, as he hasn't had to deal with that kind of thing in ages. Sure he had the stint with international navi, but we're talking an entirely different coach, a completely different IGL, a completely different identity. It's a good risk, I agree, but it's a risk. Also, to pivot to sunpayus, complexity should be THIRSTING right now, who gives a damn that they just re-signed hallzerk, just get that guy out asap for someone far more stable. Hell, take a decent risk on top of that and airlift in jba for grim too...

Loaning s1mple for an extended period is risky for Navi. If this goes badly and he doesn't at least show some glimmer of his csgo level coming back, Navi will have to significantly lower his buyout or he will rot on the bench until his contract ends. Its not about what s1mple has done, it's about how he's done it. It's not to say zywoo isn't a top tier player it's more to say, zywoo couldn't hit 1/100th of the crazy clips s1mple would hit every tournament. S1mple radiated this aura that zywoo just doesn't.
