Hi Tanya and Chris, It was good to see some of our local places. Sorry we didn't know you were so close - we might have been able to meet and share a coffee. Next time. Regards, Graham and Kath from Frederickton

Hey guys, we really enjoyed our time there, such a nice laid back feel about the place. Next time for sure, we definitely intend on coming back on our next lap around 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Totally agree, the prices of hipcamps are way to expensive. And no ammenaties in most. If your heading up the coast towards Byron bay. There's not alot of cheap camp spots. Look. At Mullumbimby sports ground. It's only a 15 minute drive into Byron bay. 30 dollars unpowered. 35 powered. Clean New ammenaties and washing machine.

Love watching your travels. As someone who is running out of new places to see in New Zealand, Aussie just seems to have an unlimited amount of great places. One day for us, meanwhile, I'll just stay jealous every time I watch one of your episodes👍

Hi Dene, Yes although neither of us extensively travelled NZ, growing up there and leaving at 30, we certainly have been most places north and south and understand that it would get small quickly. Aussie is insane, as we travel around we really are understanding the size of this place and realising you could spend the next 10 years going around and still find new places to see. Thanks for watching and we hope you get over here one day 😀

Great episode Guys, you picked some windy days, also, if you make it as far as FNQ, Magnetic Island is another Koala hotspot, there are plenty over there, and some nice walks to go on ! 🤠😎

Hey Andy, yes we had a few windy weeks in a row, but can’t let that stop us 🙌🙌😀. Thanks for the tip about magnetic island. We certainly plan on getting up that way so we will sure to add it to the list!!!!! Thanks for watching 😀

Hi guys hubby and I have just found you guys and are loving your content so much we have started watching you from the start. Hubby is the captain king and has been trying so hard to find the floral cap that Chris is wearing in these vids. His obsession over finding this hat is driving me nuts so if you can point me in the right direction of where we might find one I would be forever grateful… and you might just save a life in the process lol Keep up the great content, you guys are so much fun to watch :). If youre ever in or around Nambucca Heads, NSW give us a shout, would love to meet you guys!

Hey Kim, so happy to hear you found our channel and are loving the episodes 🙌. Oh the floral caps hahah - Chris gets a lot of comments on those, some loving and some not so much haha. These are actual from my cousins online surf brand - Shred Groms. I don't think they are in her usual stock online, but if you send her a DM on Instagram or Facebook, I can let her know to look out for your message and see if she can hook you up with one. Chris got two new ones for Christmas so he will be featuring those in the new videos to come :) @shredgroms. Thank you for the invitation, we are in WA for a little bit planning our 2024 adventures, but we will def let you know if we are out your way in the future. Thanks for watching.

@@LBWAdventures Hi Tania wow!! Thank you so very much for offering to hook us up with the floral cap. Any idea how we would let your sister know which one we are after if we were to meesage her? We will definately take you up on the offer, Peter my hubby just about fell out of his chair when I read your message to him! And tell Chris to keep rocking those caps! He looks good in them and people are always going to find something to whinge about lol. Keep up the great work guys we are hanging out for your next episode! Will wait to hear from you about the cap xx

Hi Kim, not a problem at all. I have already let her know to expect a message from you. Just ask in your message for her to send some pics of the floral options she has, then she will be able to order for you. She is also in NSW, so shouldn't take too long to arrive once you decide what one/s you want 🙌.

Never stayed at a Hip camp site as we cant justify what they charge, no matter how nice the site is. Good to know you have found one that is a reasonably priced.
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
Oh good to hear we aren’t the only ones who think they are expensive for what you get. Yes rose gardens was a nice find value wise for a quick stop over. Thanks for watching and taking the time to message us 🙌🙌🙌😊

Hey Dave, yes we enjoyed it as well!!! No not this time, we haven’t really travelled inland much on this lap, so much to see even staying close to the coast line it feels like we are still missing a heap. Thanks as always for watching and sending us a message 😊

Agree totally with hip camps being over priced especially when most don’t have any amenities
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
That’s our thought process too… same price as parks with toilets and showers but offer nothing more athan a parking spot. Still useful don’t get us wrong, but just pricey for what u get as a whole.
@andregysberts8862 Жыл бұрын
@@LBWAdventures yes don’t get me wrong there are some amazing hip camps with great prices we have found. Also don’t like been packed in at caravan parks
@carolynburns8550 Жыл бұрын
We love Hip Camps would rather stay at them with no amenities than be squeezed in with everyone one else in a caravan park
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hey Carolyn, that’s a fair call, caravan parks are getting a little squishy these days. We are not saying we don’t like them, just that they are quite expensive (in general) but of course there are always exceptions like the one we found. Thanks for watching and we hope you have your next camping trip planned 😀😀

Hi, thanks for sharing your experiences with us. NSW coast is beautiful isn’t it. We’ve stayed at three hip camps in NSW over the past two years but probably won’t be staying at any more due to high cost a lot of them are charging now. I guess it’s a personal choice as to the amount of money you want to spend though.
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hi @chrisgrossetti6146, not a problem at all. We love sharing what we find on our adventures. NSW coast is indeed stunning, although the weather for our trip has been a little hit and miss. Yes we agree, hip camps have their place, but its hard when you get so much more value for money else where. Thanks for sending us a message and of course for watching our video 👌
@terrysmith1307 Жыл бұрын
Hip camps some good some overpriced but you are right will be staying in more as we get to WA
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
We found WA last yer to be pretty good with Off-Grid national parks and campsite from wiki camps. Managed to stay Off-Grid for over 150 days in a row. We haven’t found it as easy over east this year… it seems the population is so much denser that as soon as u get away from one city or large town you arrive in the next 😬.

Koalas 🐨 only ones for us are at Yanchep national Park. Did you get the van sorted.
@LBWAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hey Dean, yes we have heard they are there… we’re hoping to just see them everywhere over this side of the country just chillin in the wild, but turns out they are very elusive, well at least to us. Van is an on going project haha more to come on that one… 😱😊
