“HEAVENLY FATHER, I come to you in the name of JESUS. I acknowledge to YOU that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; and I recognize that I need YOUR forgiveness.
I believe that YOU are the only begotten SON OF GOD, and that YOU shed YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD on the cross of Calvary and died for my sins, were resurrected on the third day, and are seated at the right hand of GOD. I repent of my sins, and I turn to YOU.
YOU said in YOUR Word that if we confess with our mouth, and believe in our hearts that GOD raised JESUS from the dead, we shall be saved.
I ask YOU FATHER to forgive me of all my sins, and ask You to fill me with The HOLY SPIRIT. This very moment I accept JESUS CHRIST as my own personal LORD and SAVIOR and according to YOUR Word, right now I am saved. LORD have full control of my life and help me to serve YOU and glorify YOUR HOLY NAME and praise YOU forever. Amen.”

Amen I needed this. I find spending time in prayer and conversation with God before and after bedtime helps and studying His word to prepare for witnessing. Meditating on the psalms and promises of God in prayer helps us draw closer to God. It’s important to personalize the scriptures you declare/recite by being mindful and set our heart towards God in prayer. Declaring our love to God is a form of worship & abiding that draws us closer to God, and it leads to action by His work. I’ve been studying the definition of faith. It’s one thing to study faith but living by faith-living it out, can be challenging. (Faith is confidence in the Lord), that He will do the work in us to enable us to love Him & others. (Faith itself is the living power and work of God), it’s not something we created it’s a gift we received a fruit that is produced in and through us by God-Philippians 2:13. 💞Luke 10:27 🕊️John 15:5 - it’s important to yield to God in prayer and ask Him for help to love Him and others, and live for Him, because we need God in order to obey God. 🛡️Romans 1:17 - we are totally dependent on God.

It’s difficult when you have pain and hard obstacles blocking that relationship and you start to feel shame and guilt you should discuss that on your next topic how can you build a deeper relationship without being religious when people around you are distractions and the lack of boundaries are starting to to hinder that bond you formed with the father

@findmeinthesecretplace I HAVE NO IDEA but there's that voice that says "that's such a nice jar don't throw it away" and then bam I have so many candle jars in my junk cupboard like what do we do lol I am also that girl that keeps the good boxes y'know, like "wow that's a good box".. that's how I knew I was turning into my mom cause my friends started needing weird but specific things and without missing a beat I always have exactly what they looking for lol I don't know why I keep it but sooner or later someone ends up needing it! I've fallen off course with the father and have been wanting to get back on track but it's been hard to just go to my secret place but I did it this morning and just cried cried cried. So is there a right and wrong way to have a relationship with God, is seeing as religion a bad thing? I'm genuinely asking. How do you know the best way to praise God and how we do know the right way to? Should we all have our personal relationship with God?

What happens if you have a lot on my plate on time but want to spend more time with god I struggle reading the Bible everyday and praying since in the day I have responsibilities and work at night I want to search gods word for wisdom I love him but I’m getting distracted
