I'd like to add that although being able to present a certain image is damaging to the individual, so is constantly using filters to present a beautiful scene (ocean, sunrise, sunset) in an idealised way. The validation that comes when we post an image which gets 'likes' is such a strong human need. On one level we do not want to be a slave to validation, however, neither can that need be ignored. Tough one.
