[S2 - Eps. 37] 11.000 kilometers on my Royal Enfield Himalayan!

In this episode my Royal Enfield Himalayan "Dhanno" gets a service because she clocked 11.000 kilometers. The next day, I'm heading back towards Chile from Villa la Angustura in Argentina. But first I am making a beautiful tour around Lake Traful in Argentina. One of those gems where you don't encounter anyone!

Shame that you didn't spend some time in Bariloche. There is is so much to see and do. The area around Villa de Angestura and San Martin de Los Andes. Is known as the Argentine Lake District or the route of the seven lakes. Stunning.

Hello Alistair, I’m argentinian, and I think this part of Patagonia is the most beautiful one, both sides of the Andes. She didn’t ride the route De los 7 lagos, just the last part reaching San Martin de los Andes. From Villa La Angostura she takes another route to get to Paso del Cordoba, an alternative route to reach San Martin de los Andes, a different, dryer, beautiful ride, with amazing views, like the one she takes whit the stick with the rocky valley bellow at 10:58. Ruta de los 7 lagos would have been more green forest and lakes (seven of them 😆).

Hola Noraly, creo que saliste de Villa La Angostura por ruta de los 7 lagos, desviaste hacia Traful(aunque no se vió en el video) y luego cruzaste el puente para retomar hacia Meliquina, tampoco ví tu paso por San Martín de los Andes. Un hermoso recorrido!! Gracias a vos , me entero de que hay una agencia Royal Enfield en Villa La Angostura, compré una Himalayan en Bs. Aires y me queda muy lejos para realizar el service! Back when I could ride I rode a Honda Goldwing only on pavement. The most I rode in one year was about 12,000 kilometers. You are a real motorcyclist, I never rode more than 650 kilometers in one day. I really enjoy watching your channel.

Perfect xmas surprise, watched with my 85 yr old mother beside her xmas tree, she loved it (when i watch a video with her she always checks if you have your makeup done). Dhanno's new nose is perfect, probably gives many people a big smile when they see you go by on street. U-turn in forest was smart move, and gave you a comment about your eyes at toll booth, which probably gave you a big smile when editing. I'll suggest a New Years Resolution, a goal of 20+ minute video's in 2020.

Merry Christmas Noraly. What bearing got changed? Was it the steering head bearing which has been a weak point which enfield need to get sorted and start looking after their loyal customers. Anyway very best wishes to you, what a star you are. ;)

Family engineer notes that aircraft bearings, of the highest quality rating, are replaced on an early schedule that leaves them with countless more hours of life. Locate them, especially if searching for the very best cost per extended cycle of replacement.

I would doubt it was the head stem bearing given the it was only a one day service. It would be safe to say they would need a minimum two full days to do a major job like that. I just hope Noraly is not cheated on issues like that where it would be so easy to say they had changed the bearings & she wouldn't be able to know for sure. Nothing worse than a shreaded bearing to upset the trip.

P. A. F. Mi Tasol It was indeed the head bearings. She had the same issue on her previous Enfield at about the same miles. Enfield is a stout little bike, although it does have some weak points.
