Thanks for this video. I just got the clutch installed and going to be putting the transmission back on. Without this I wouldn't have been able to figure it out. There are unnecessary steps from other guides and this one seems to be the most easy way to do it!

Thank you very much for this vid. Going for a clutch change this weekend, and you helped me alot here. One question though: Do I need to remove the whole starter motor from the engine? I understand the bolt, but does it come off like a whole assembly?

Gsonperformance how to avoid damages on the knock sensor when you remove the starter top bolt?
@gsonperformance45067 жыл бұрын
Adam Li the I was just very carful I explain what I did and what tools I used to get the top starter bolt. I moved the alternator to put a long extension with a swivel on it
@adamli69037 жыл бұрын
Gsonperformance thanks I was able to remove the starter upper bolt easily. Now it comes to the bolts of the subframe. I see some posts and shop manual mentioned the steering column bolts and in your video I don't see that. Are those not necessary?

How does the clutch pedal pressure feel ? Is it light like stock or stiff?
@gsrturbo37867 жыл бұрын
Should torque pressure plate in star pattern. That's beast to do at home no air tools or hoist.

Thanks for making this video. If anybody is planning to replace their own clutch, make sure to watch this video as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH-tq6mZZ7KBaLM You definitely need to torque those bolts in stages and in a criss-cross pattern to make sure the flywheel and pressure plate seat evenly. Not doing so means you might have to do the job again a lot earlier than you want. Do it right the first time!
