Yeah her high-beams have been converted to HID and there is a loose connection in the left headlight I think. It's not as noticeable in person for some reason.

No problem. An external mic definitely better sound pickup, but I was kind of rushing to get everything set up that night so I didn't mess with it. You can just use like a little cheap Lapel Mic for about $20 and put it inside your car clipped to the visor or something. You have to get an expensive ass cable adapter from GoPro though if you want to use a mic on the Hero3. Hero2 and HeroHD have mic ports built-in.

Nice run... one definitely needs to have it together to run like that. It seems that Billman can open his throttle much sooner after a turn than the camera man, and that's why he's falling back... correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that is exactly the case. (Driver here.) I was on worn out all-season tires and he was on good R-comp rubber, so I was skating it around and not as good at drifting as he is so being cautious on throttle. Didn't want to wreck the wife's car. ;)

Good to know; thanks. I just bought one and have been playing with it. The case with the open back (which GoPro recommends for speeds < 100 mph) recorded mostly wind noise; I tried the closed-back one and there was much less wind noise. Going to be heading down there in a few days with the FR-S and I wanted to try it out.

It was a piece of Harley Davidson chrome trim that he just ran over. I noticed it during the run and picked it up on the next pass. Good eye though!
