***** You don't get the name "God Hand" by using both your hands.
@DeSjeft11 жыл бұрын
HeartoftheSCALAB It also shows the strength of the S2000. It has a great chassis if you can drive it like that with mostly just using one hand for steering.
@boostpanda10 жыл бұрын
***** Do you even race bra? Powersteering helps with handling if you take it off than you have to handle the car rougher whitch makes steering tougher and you feel the track better( in my opinion). He's using both hands in the corners to feel the grip and suspension of the car. you dont have to have both hands to look cool and think youre a racer your driving does. This dude already knows tha track and has a good car and setup to drive backwards if he wants to. Jelousy is a killa.....haters
@darrenc12pdg12310 жыл бұрын
benzfen Fuck up you don't have a clue, you don't have to use both hands and use them in a set position to be defined as a "good driver"
@VictryIsNvrYors10 жыл бұрын
benzfen Using the 9 and 3 hand position on the steering wheel is meant for the road to make the driver instructors happy. On the track, it means nothing. You pick whatever hand position you're comfortable and good with. Also, this guy is driving the car pretty well I have to say. He saved it a few times from going around backwards and drives the track well. I'd like to see you do the same.

Have you guys had any issues with the Brian Crower stage 2 cams? Heard they caused some engine failures not too long ago in some other S2000s
@kzannos10 жыл бұрын
CaliPatriot88 No problem with the cams so far. They have been on the car for 15.000kms, they were checked recently and they have no wear at all. They have been installed since the car was running the stock ECU till now, running an AEM EMS. They work like a charm and i absolutely recommend them.

Calm, cool, relaxed, and knows his car and rules of the track well.....Awesome driver! But I'd be scared shitless doin that kinda speed in a open top car without a helmet
@gaboaaa2311 жыл бұрын
Everone is complaining about the two hands on the wheel! I think he has so much skills, that he knows when to use 2 hands. I mean on every hard corner or harmfull situations(where other cars are involved) he uses both hands almost all the time. But on the helmet side i am with you guys. Very dangrous! Especialy since i watched some rollover crashtest videos and you have almost no chance to survive in a roll over case. Especialy the taller passenger guy. I would never ride at such speed in a regular streetcar(even if the s2000 is a racecar in some ways) with regular driver and no roof above me. Thats insanely dangerous. But i have to say something else to the driver! I onyl saw a few guys(most of the time japanese drivers) who are so calm at this fast speeds. You drive like you are on the highway and drive 60mph. Respect!
@niel1986110 жыл бұрын
Driving with a roof down does look fun. I would have rolling safety lingering in the back of my head though while I race at those speeds. He is very skilled. Just wished he would use both hands though. You never know when you might suddenly need that additional control in a situation. Everyone crashes, regardless of how skilled you are so minimizing that risk for the people racing with you is not too much to ask.
@d1sturb3d11911 жыл бұрын

@simonharty740010 жыл бұрын
Tbh that was a pretty safe lap, the driver obviously knows the track well and left plenty of room when catching and passing other vehicles( ive seen much worse) and as for the 1 handed thing i think he was trying to prove a point on how well the car handled, looked really cool although i am a 2 handed guy lol.

A very impressive lap. Many have commented on one handed driving or lack of helmets/Hans devices/other safety protection. I thoroughly agree that for driver and passenger they were poorly protected (not at all). The driver however did a good job of avoiding traffic and being a good track citizen, and displayed excellent car handling skills. Personally I wouldn't be pushing hard on a track at those speeds without a cage and full safety system, but that's their prerogative. Those on bikes push the danger limit much further all the time, and no one complains then. In all automotive sports safety of others is paramount, but you take your own safety into risk every time you do what you do, and need to accept that risk.
