its not that the iphone 12 did bad, it was consistent at 60 fps, while the samsung was not peaking 60fps, but it was very fluctuate, and the reason it didnt get warm was cause of all the frame drops. i dont even know how you werent aware of that. the iphone did a beautiful job, staying strong but yes, it got warm. winner is the iphone imo

Currently have a Note 20 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro as well. I play games on both. The thing that pisses me off the most about the iPhone is the dumb notch. I frequently have to flip the phone the other way because the notch would cover the menu in games I play. The extra RAM compared to the iPhone 11 definitely helps. It crashes a lot less than the iPhone 11 when gaming. I overall have a better experience gaming on the Note 20 Ultra than the iPhone 12 Pro. I ordered the S21 Ultra. Can't wait to game on it once I get it.

When it comes to gaming feel the 12 pro is much better due to the a14. I’m ranked 6th in cod mobile USA and most pro players will never use android /Samsung due to the unsmoothness of it. Same goes for every supercell game, and Genshin impact is a wild card

I've been gaming on the OnePlus 7t pro. I use a super slim rubber case for it. It's absolutely amazing! The 90hz display and powerful hardware are nice. On CoD mobile it's had absolutely no hiccups. I'm absolutely destroying on it! I thought about switching to the iphone 12, so a buddy who bought one let me play with his, including gaming. While I found the iphone 12 pro pretty amazing, I couldn't justify leaving my phone for it. Gaming wise, the 7t pro is amazing, absolutely no bezel, and it doesn't even have a hole punch camera since the front face camera pops up out of the top. If any phone is top tier for gaming, it's the OnePlus 7t pro. From what I hear the OnePlus 9 is also amazing with it's 120hz display, but they went with a hole punch camera. Asus also released a new Rog phone, built top specs for gaming, still has the 90hz refresh screen, but 1ms response time, and a special snapdragon 845 qualcomm processor running at 2.96ghz on 8 cores cooled with some kind of vapor chamber system, LPDDRX4 RAM, and many more performance enhancing parts for maximum capabilities. It is a beast, and with the vapor cooling system, it allows the phone to run at peak performance without throttling.

@@OffBrand2000 So Samsung is faster than apple right out of the box, but over time you will see that it starts to get slower. The thing is, from my experience, it does not get slower than apple, but stays the same. If you are having issues, it's probably just storage or something like that.

I don't know why but today I tried asphalt 9 on my new S21U and there were occassional frame drops that I noticed thought it was kinda strange to notice frame drops on such powerful device but I think since game only supports 60fps & I was playing on adaptive display so maybe old games are not yet optimized for S21U since it's a new device.

S21 Ultra clearly ran Genshin at around 45-50 FPS, throughout, whereas, iPhone had it at locked 60. But I understand the reality: KZbinrs need to earn more subs, views and likes to grow. And you get that by praising Android, as Android users are greater in number, worldwide. Giving iPhone its due credit would take away that share of views and likes. So be it! Good job!

The performance will improve in genshin for the s21 ultra because GI isn't optimised yet for exynos 2100 or sdm888. GI Devs are always slow at optimization. Instead CODM was a more fair test as it just recently had an update. The s21's performance should improve in GI in a month or so. And yeah he does seem a little biased🙂

If you will carefully watch the video you can see that there were lags and frame drops on s21 plus the settings on genshin just on high not highest that we could see on pro max. Either way, both phones are definitely great.

Yeah!! I've also noticed it. In the unbiased camera comparison. In a photo he saw that the snow is white and in other the snow is yellow. Then the result shows that white snow one is Samsung and yellow one is iPhone. So in the next photo they picked the one with yellow snow, by giving some fake detailed justifications.

Hope Android will get a major integration with Windows 11. That with the S-Pen compatibility (no Pencil in iPhone) and the points you mentioned on overheating with iPhone makes the S21 Ultra look well ahead of iPhone 12 Max. Doubt some of those will be upgraded with iPhone 13. I have iPhone 8 and want to upgrade but will have to go with Samsung.

If you disable the "Game optimizing service" in Samsung phones it will run cooler, it will have better and more stable fps (about 30% better) and it will drain less power.

i gotta sa, on the topic of gaming, I think IOS can play Final Fantasy 13 or Star Ocean 4 now. IOS can already play ps4/ps3 games like Xcom 2, Life Is Strange, Grid Autosport, The Last Remnant and Company Of Heroes, as well as upcoming ps4 games like Alien Isolation and Divinity: Original Sins2 coming this year or next. Battery drainage is always a problem for non outlet power supply but easily fixable by upgrading the device or updating battery game optimization

@Harsh Gurnani LOL you do know there is software that you can use that enables you to read FPS? Game bench, perfdog, and even Apple has a native software in their developer kit with their macOS to read FPS for iPhone games. Please research before speaking.

@@tylerpril4306 Iphone starts with better fps for sure, we can clearly see it, but we saw a pretty aggressive overheating issue here as well. If i wanna play Genshin on my Phone for like 3 hours, the iPhone becomes unplayable in no time. With the iPhone 11 Pro Max, there wasn't any issue like this. Personally, i'm still using the 2018 11' iPad pro for gaming, and it's simply perfect, without any thermal issues. I can say the same to my Galaxy Tab S7 Plus 5G as well.

@@fallengarden I’d say the s21 is worse in overheating. The snapdragon 888 has been known to get to 50c. Check out Golden Reviewers videos. As for the iPhone, it throttles to protect device from getting that hot. As for performance, the iPhone is the only device I’ve seen get 58 FPS averaged based on golden reviewer and small youtubers like Dame Tech. My friend also has an iPhone and I can confirm that it does get those numbers since I got him to install perfdog to check. I still went with Xiaomi because I just prefer android over iOS, but in terms of performance, the iPhone is better
