Man that's quite the fish. Looks bigger than 25 to me. Living the dream again.

Cool, life is hard but guess someone gotta do it eh?.....ahah. Hate to see ya pound the life outta the king with a stick though! I use a sharp pointed fillet knife right down top of his little head behind his little beady eyes. When you hit the right spot he is dead 'tout de suite' and practice you will do it first time every time.........cheers beaut fish

Killing salmon like that keeps them from bleeding as well! I know it isn't the gentlest, but the stun from giving them a good hit lets the heart beat a good while longer and keeps the meat fresher

@@jonasbanta7017 Bull! the quicker you can bleed and gut the fish the better....stays fresh longer and you don't beat up the fish. With the advent of the insta freeze, that can be overcome but not nec better! Been at it all my life ck it out.

Haha! You know it! I started filming some of my hunting trips a couple years ago and then during covid just started compiling videos. It’s actually pretty fun. Mine are all pretty basic but I think they give a look into Alaska living with a supercub! Do it!!

Another awesome video! Fishing in the rain is what I had to do on my last visit to Alaska! Definitely some huge fish! Would be cool to see you fish for those giant halibut! As always thanks for taking us along on your adventure ! Rick From Virginia

I really shouldn’t say on here, but if you get on the fish and game webpage, it is listed as one of the king rivers in west Cook Inlet. A pretty well known place.
