Good night Lisa and André 🙂 Finally getting the bikes out of rust, we're also looking at two for ourselves but they're so expensive 🙈!!! Lisa already missed a sweet treat haa 😁 kisses

Ebikes are crazy expensive! 😩 We often wonder how we justified it.. but as we're on the road full time we do enjoy them. Even though not often enough.

We visited Valencia a month ago pretty much to the day. Our mode of transport wasn’t quite as adventurous as yours, it was a big azz boat ( cruise ship🙃) . Beautiful city. We’re shopping for a motorhome/campervan atm. Your channel is super inspirational ✨ Cheers 🍻

Great video as always! Thanks for sharing. I am now watching your journey as it happens, having caught up on your other videos.Our trip this year crosses some of your journey! WE loved Valencia. We booked a cookery school, bought all the ingredients in the large indoor market and cooked it in the restaurant before tucking in!! We took trains all the way from the UK, but next year it will be in our Motorhome, Patrick, as we hope to spend the UK winter in Spain! Happy travels!😃

I'm glad you liked Valencia, we go every year and it is one of the cities in Spain that we like the most, especially for its rice (very delicious due to the lagoon), its very educated people and the environment. It is also very famous for the Fallas festival, which just ended recently. If you go to Catalonia, don't miss, of course, Barcelona, Gaudí's architecture and Park Güell. And further north in the province of Gerona, L'scala is a beautiful town famous for its anchovies and Cadaqués is also beautiful, a reference town for Dalí the surrealist painter (his museum is in Figueras). As a curiosity, before Cadaqués there is Ampuriabrava, a modern Venice.

Great tour. I live a few weeks a year in Valencia , 2 minutes from the bull ring The cathedral you mentioned houses the holy grail. And you can take a tour inside the opera house( very curvy building looks like a helmet) for €10. There's too much to see. You need a few days to really get a good feel of it. Ps that bull ring is still functioning , as a bull ring !

Great to see you back on your bikes guys. I'm curious, how are you finding it on your very own bike Lisa ? That looks like a very nice cycleway, great to not have to compete with cars. Lisa must be in heaven, she has found an ice-cream pastry ! I spent one night in Valencia years ago and loved it. Its so clean and the resto's are so good. I had the impression that its a very well run city and that there is a lot of money around. That Silk Exchange building was stunning, amazing pillars. Safe travels.
@WeWillNomad7 ай бұрын
Thanks Ronan. We really liked Valencia. Apparently, there was a major political push to make it cycle friendly a number of years ago. It's not brilliant all over, but we always appreciate a city when it provides us with this option. In truth, it might have been better on this occasion if we used a big bike only.. Not that Lisa struggled, but navigating a city adds stress. Out in the countryside it's a whole different story. 😎

Thanks! Sadly, we don't meet many people on the road. We would love to though. It's pure luck if we bump into someone who recognize us - and also want to have a chat. Usually, it's more a case of connecting with email or social media first and then meet up if our paths cross.

Hi André and Lisa we love your channel my wife is Czech and planning to move back in 5 year too travel Europe. Was wondering what’s better rv or travel trailer you pull for Europe planning on moving a lot in Europe.also should I bring either my rv or travel trailer from The USA or is it cheaper to buy there. Also where is a good place to rent a rv in Portugal if you know, we are going there next year.
@WeWillNomad7 ай бұрын
Hi Keith! Thanks for the comment. From our experience an RV is more practical in Europe if you want to keep moving around. A lot of the stops are made for this type of travel and having a travel trailer (caravan) is not always practical. You will have to consider all the costs and complications to bring your own RV to Europe. In Europe the vehicles are generally a bit smaller and have smaller engines as well - which makes them more fuel efficient (fuel is very pricey). You might also have to figure out how to convert your electrics as the supply is 220V in Europe. To buy your own vehicle might be better but this also depends on how long you plan on keeping it. In Europe it's not easy to register a vehicle in your name unless you are a resident in a specific country or have help from family or friends. Fortunately, Czech Republic is a good option for purchasing. Germany probably offers the best choice and value overall but you will need to import it to Czech. There are some companies who does guaranteed buy back schemes to help non residents with short term ownership as an alternative. You can also talk to Marcus from mycarturf.com as an option. With regards to short term rental in Portugal you might find your best option with Indie Campers although there are many other suppliers. All the best with your trip!

Hasta Sardinia I'm disappointed......I thought you guys were going to go to Ibiza to a Rave Dance party? Lisa seems to be into Architecture. One thing i'm proud of, is a young New Zealand architect who at the age of 22 ended up being the Chief architect for the construction of The Sagrada Familia. He was the first to decode Gaudis Design philosophy and introduce 3d printing and aeronautical design aids to Architecture. Understanding how fractals intersect. Magic Mushrooms help...lol You hate it or you love it but to truly experience the full appreciation of the work you have to enter the Basilica.
@WeWillNomad7 ай бұрын
Apparently, they say. "Take mushrooms sooner rather than later in life. It will save you a lot of time". 😁 By the way many years ago we went to a 3 day trance party over New Years with some friends. We discovered a few things about ourselves. Primarily that we're not trance party people. 🤣 Sadly we did not have the opportunity to see the inside of the Sagrada yet. We were in Barcelona 3 years ago and there were a lot of covid protocols in place.. 😒 Lisa is a structural engineer specializing in bridges, hence the odd bridge gawking and fawning over someone like Calatrava. 😁
