That's an impressive bridge. Interesting fact about the pylon height. The Viking museum looks really interesting. We have a strong connection with the Viking era here in Scotland. If you are watching this and haven't yet subscribed then why not ? This lovely couple produce such amazing videos for us all to enjoy. They are worth it, believe me. I have been following them all over Europe and even when they ventured down to Morocco. The quality of their content is tremendous. I know, Lisa has a penchant for pastries and ice cream and Andre is very annoying with his ability to do pretty much everything. He can fix things, he can cook amazing meals, he can run, kite surf and is very good looking. Ok, the last bit is a lie. But they are a wonderful, energetic, youthful, refreshing young couple who deserve and have earned our subs. Nike.... Just Do it......

For years we did envy the Norvegians and their much restored - Two Viking ships (and a bottom) from Tombs (We only had one ship in Ladby, which is only the shape in the ground). But now we have found so many Viking ships in Denmark that we don't even care to collect them, but leave them to be eventually excavated and preserved by later times! In my former hometown, with ruins from a Castle, we know of a ship in the local leisure harbour, which has been left, with restrictions from sailing above it!). Finn. Denmark

But it was huge Viking Fleets from mostly Denmark that attacked England and several Danish Kings also became English Kings and ruled over most of the North of Europe. The most famous is of course, Knud 2nd "The Great" (Canute) who also ruled over Norway, the - habitable part of Sweden and northern Germany, down to our Fortress Wall, crossing Jutland. We also have an area in Britain named "The Danelaw". The area where the Nordic Laws became respected (Which Knud didn't rule, as the exception!). The single Norwegian try for this, ended at Stamford Bridge!! Finn. Denmark

In the Good Old Days we had ferries crossing, loved by those without an actual need to cross except a few times a year, and now You have crossed during the time needed, optimally, before the ferry sailed, for an hour (and not always when I needed to sail, during nights)! Also for trains (Now in a tunnel below, at least for the last part and the high bridge). I like that you don't find it that expensive, but by now it has paid its costs and could be free, as any other road in Denmark! But we have ferries to the sides, still needing payment and this is why we still have to pay! Finn. Denmark

The pylons are not the highest man made point in Denmark. They are 254 moh (meter over the sea) but Rø transmitter are 431,2 moh.....a bit higher.

The best ice cream on Sjælland (and maybe in Denmark) is from Social Foodies (in my opinion). It's only in Greater Copenhagen but man is it good. They make everything from scratch. They even source their own cocoa beans and make their own chocolate for the ice cream.
