Whether the features are used or not, losing features is still a downgrade. I use the bluetooth feature a ton, especially when taking pics with kids. Makes it 10x easier because I can just hold them and push the button several times to take a bunch of pics and select the best pics.

Heres the thing. The ultra version phone is considered like the Cadillac so to speak. This Cadillac comes with all these features fully loaded right. I rather have it in case I do need it, there's been points I used the bluetooth pen to take pictures of the family when there was no one to take it for us. Now you tell me what was the purpose of removing it, what was the gain? Better camera? better speakers? bigger battery? Any of those upgrades could off still been possible if any of those were the reason why they removed the bluetooth function. You're paying good money for a top of the line product

It's cool but wouldn't really trade in my s24 Ultra for all the other drawbacks as well. I'm not really going out in the forest where I can't connect to the regular towers. And like everyone said it's only Verizon which I don't use. So it's a really niche market they are targeting. It's smart that Samsung didn't talk about it since it's not ready for everyone to use.

The reason why the resolution looks better now is simply because samsung has upgraded its color depth to 10 bit instead of the traditional 8 bit colors. Which should give the screen and camera recordings richer color density. So that's why the colors looks so beautiful. The Sony e-mount cameras have adapted this technology 5 years ago. Its nice that Samsung finally got it for us.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this phone and go back to Samsung after a few years of always using a Pixel. I went to Best Buy and used an S25U for a few minutes and I came away really impressed with the form factor. It's got to be the most comfortable big phone to hold onto. It may look like the S24U, but in the hand it really feels nothing like it. And I think OneUI 7 looks like the best Galaxy update in years.

I just discovered the usefulness of my samsung s-pen,especially on astro mode and zoom pictures and with selfies. I stunned a few non samsung users ,filming and taking pictures at work, using the spen. On family gatherings I make group selfies with the pen. It felt absolutely fantastic giving a photographer my phone,(as I did not want to wait for the pictures to be published of our event) ,explaining him how to use my s-pen button to ease making the shot ad he is tall and taking the shot without bending!

Apparently, Samsung is going to sell a Bluetooth S Pen separately. I honestly might get one, or I'll just get a watch and do it that way. I've been finding myself trying to take pictures and wishing I was handsfree. To be clear, I don't think it's a deal breaker by a long shot. I'm coming from an S23U, so I jumped on the S25U. Just a few more days and I'll have it in my hands.

Great content. I'm so glad I traded my s23 ultra for the s24 ultra. 3 weeks ago. The s25 ultra. Is nice, but 1, I like the square square shape, 2, I like my Bluetooth s pen. My phone is in the supcase mag xt, no pain in my hand. I traded my s23 ultra in with T-Mobile. I got 800. Which color s25 ultra are you getting

​@TristanWegner-mw3idYou don't know much about OnePlus. In my experience, the camera on the OnePlus 13 is a big downgrade from that of the OnePlus 12. Photos on the 13 are too over sharpened and too over contrasted in comparison, to the point that they can look cartoon like. The zoom performance on the 12 is so much better than that on the 13 also. In video, low light zoom on the 13 loses so much detail in comparison to that one the 12. I could go on, but I won't. Don't believe all the hype about the OnePlus 13. 8 Elite cost has necessitated technical downgrades on this device.

That's why I did not upgrade my s23, but I had a note 9 , speakers sometimes stop working, so I traded that for 550. Otherwise I was not gonna upgrade. My s23 still is a very very good phone to use.

The trade-in promos are mostly clever marketing. If you paid say $1200 for your phone last year and trade it in and pay another $400, you've paid $1600 for your current phone; subtract $100 for the value of the buds, $1500...$300 more than the cost of the phone. Even taking into account cost of ownership it's at best breaking even for nothing life changing.

Well, c'mon now. Let's not forget that Samsung is a 'for-profit' company. 😅 Yes, they will get your trade. So let's say their cost to manufacture an s25u is around $90. They're giving you a great deal to trade-in your phone, so you're more apt to remain in their ecosystem - which is the ultimate goal. They now have made a profit on selling you the new phone, and you've gotten an excellent value for your trade. BUT, now Samsung has your old phone. They can put a new battery in it, and do what's needed to refurb it, then they can turn around and sell it again with a tidy profit to boot. They're not one of the world's leading manufacturers for nothing. They are an enormous tech manufacturer that just happens to apply their tech and manufacturing to a wide array of consumer and commercial entities.

EXACTLY!!! I never used any of the Bluetooth functions on the S-Pen. Sometimes I have to force myself to use the pen because I haven't used it in such a long time but it does come in handy for times when I don't have paper around and I need to jot down important information so.... I'm ok with the "downgrade". Two more weeks and I'll have my Blue Titanium!!!!

I totally agree, if the phone is uncomfortable to use then what’s the point in keeping it around lol. For only 400 bucks due to trade-in, that’s well worth it to me, I had no problems with the older galaxies such as the note 9 just the note 20 ultra and every ultra excluding the S20 and S21 felt weird, I would always buy them and then get sick of the sharp edges and switch to a different phone, I currently do that. I have a S24 Ultra but I frequently switch off to my Pixel 8 Pro despite preferring Samsung overall since it just feels better to me, I played around with the S25 Ultra at Best Buy and it feels a lot nicer in hand. I can’t wait to get mine.

Will trade in my s23+ for the s25 ultra. For me I think it will be a decent upgrade. Also I believe Samsung have tweaked some of the things that has made me pick the Plus-version in the past.
