Excellent info. Took me months to figure out why my main tank was overflowing. Like you explained, I eventually figured out that previous owner didn’t run a return line to the aux tank and that far more fuel is sent to the carb than is needed and excess was returning to the main tank and thus overflowing. Think this will help others. Thanks for all the great ideas and info.

Do you run a second gauge. Or does the original gauge swap over when you flick it across?

I have a switch on the dash to swap from tanks, same gauge.

were did you get the solenoid valve from?

Hi mate, picked it up from Amazon. But I have seen the same solenoid valve available from online car part suppliers too.
