"I came across the truth sometimes," priceless One of their BEST episodes, ET's homeless perspectives are convos I have heard one, word for word, from people who are homeless and from people who minister with the homeless community. The excuses, the self delusion and even how the denial is a fake security blanket... Thank you ETA

So many young people have rage when they hit their teens and 20's because they thought they were owed more and didn't realize how ruthless and tough life is. They weren't prepared and taught how hard you actually have to work in live just to have a regular normal life. Like you have to bust your ass just to pay your rent and you still might not have enough left over for dental work. To get all the fancy extras you have to bust your ass and do a lot more than just 40 hours a week whether that just be at work or work+school hours. Kids aren't taught these realities and think life is like school where if you just show up and do the bare minimum you're okay and can coast along. Then they hit the workforce and suddenly they're busting their ass just to get half the life their parent's gave them. So they're angry about it and project it. Takes them years to get over it and accept how life is if they ever do.

Rage is the perfect word for how I’ve felt I could looking for that thumbs up from my dad and when I finally got it it wasn’t satisfying still kept blaming him for all the baby mommas he had and the half sisters and the step sister and etc I felt like my mans cut my child hood short and ostracized me before it even started I wanted revenge I wanted to s*** all over his life and prove a point that it was possible to be with one women... but getting baptized for the second time after fighting through a domestic violence case and getting it expunged made me realize I’m the one to blame even if those points are valid I plaid high school football and ran track

Listen, I enjoy this conversation because you guys make a difficult subject light. But in 2016 my only son cussed me out. My only son that I carried for 9 months, bore with a NATURAL birth raised his voice and used language that floored me. Shook me. Took me out for a year. He was angry at me for not having his dad in his life. I was abused by his dad the entire time we were married, but that didn't matter to him. When he was in high school, we lived in a motel, while I worked a nice corporate job, I wasn't on drugs or anything -- I just couldn't afford the downpayment (or so I told myself at the time). He was mad at me for that. Nothing else matter. He was angry and his rage took me out. I would give my life for him. I'm ok now but it took a minute. I'm certain there are A LOT of young black men dealing with the same issue, E. Keep talking about it. You're healing people you'll never meet. Continued blessings to you!

In regards to Eric speaking about the emotional troubles that he had in regards to his relationship with his wife I totally agree. Many young African American males deal with this type of issue: Where there was some sort of trauma imposed on them by maybe their mom or the lack of a masculine energy being in the home. And they start to embrace what they resent which is the feminine principle in a toxic manner. It's not really Toxic Masculinity it's Toxic Femininity. It may seem masculine because it's a male emoting but he's chemically imbalanced. Looking at my own life I realize that I too am guilty of getting emotional during certain discussions me and my wife would have where she was not provoking me to anger, but looking for clarity on a situation.
