My mum also died when I was 13. Even though I was atheist I actually became fascinated with Pope John Paul II when he came to England shortly after my mother died. I truanted from school to watch him on TV. I had a profound conversion at 17 (being present at Mass and then visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham completely broke through my unbelief in an earth-shattering way). I was baptised at 19. Very happily married to my cradle Catholic husband for 25 yrs now. Thank you for sharing such a powerful conversion story.

Great episode thank you, and Sofia is just a super mum with her sweet 2 month old twins! Thank you for sharing your conversion story and your witness to the sacrament of marriage. Btw I watched with English subtitles and they're mostly correct but it does suggest "flapped" instead of "lapsed" haha! Also, would it be very complicated to get subtitles in Polish too? No problem if not possible, most young Poles speak good English, and having English subtitles helps a lot already. Just a thought. Thanks again for a great episode.
