You certainly did your research in developing this pattern. I have made numerous by Annie patterns and found the instructions spot on, probably the best in the industry. I plan to make this as a gift for my mother’s upcoming 99th birthday. I know she will love it.

YAY! I discovered a new, well stocked, delightful Quillt Shop - it's "Sew Together" in Albuquerque, New Mexico, west side (Coors and Paseo del Norte - by Target). Met the wonderful owner, Heidi, who graciously gave me a fat quarter bundle for my crayon/color pencil roll ups to go with the Sidekicks that I'll make for several super seniors (in assisted living) as soon as the pattern arrives! This store has the bird fabric shown in your sample and I bought enough for 5 walker caddys. These folks know how to welcome customers, help select fabrics for projects and help you buy what you need - not over-spend. What a wonderful addition / welcomed change to the quilting stores community in ABQ NM! My Sidekicks are going to be the bomb with the coordinating crayon/pencil roll-ups (see the Easy to Sew YT tutorial).

Thanks for the in-depth research. I know people that use both walkers, rollators and wheelchairs. Along with sports parents. I have made several of your patterns. The instructions are always clear and well written.

Thank you for all the work and care that went into the Sidekick bag. One thing you didn’t mention was that it is a great looking bag as well.

Thank you so much for this pattern. I don’t think most folks appreciate the brain power that goes into developing a pattern: from concept to working pattern. Thank you

Bernina has a great foot #38 that has two levels to it . I sometimes use this foot for applying hook and loop tape, also never use the sticky hook and loop tape . Love the new patterns currently making them 😍

Perfect, My brother broke his leg last week & is now using a walker. I rigged an “In Control” for the front that works, but Sidekick is the bomb. I will order the pattern tonight. Thankfully byAnnie orders ship quickly. Still waiting for my local shop to get in Snapshot, but I need Sidekick asap.

So happy I found this presentation, and I've ordered the pattern... can't wait to get it and hopefully a coupon for the add-on video as I'm a serious visual learner. Q. Where do you get your beautiful fabrics? The birds print in particular; I have several super seniors who want a caddy for their walker and I'll certainly make one each for these super folks, thus the q about where to buy fabric. Q. Can we sell the sidekick at a craft fair/word of mouth? If so, what price would be suggested (I usually buy very good quilting cotton so taking into consideration the cost of fabric.) Thank you for sharing about research that goes into your pattern designs, tips on constructing the pattern, and your encouraging words to all who are fortunate to follow you.

Thank you for the wonderful information on the Sidekick. I love it! I wondered what you thought about adding a small pocket between the hook and loop layers to store the carry strap? I really would not want to take up room inside and I’m concerned I would leave it home. This will be on my list to complete very soon.

My walker is nothing like those shown in the live video for Sidekick pattern. My walking aid is called a Carlett Easy Shopping and has 4 wheels, a seat on top of the shopping bag part and the handle is set at the back with an angle to it, very like a stroller handle would but narrower. The sidekick measurement shown on the supplies page for the pattern on your webpages shows that the width of the part of the sidekick that goes over the handle would need to be reduced as the handle on my walker is only 11" wide which does not leave space two hands on the handle without them going over the fabric of the sidekick. Unfortunately I do not have acces locally to ByAnie patterns and the cost of carriage for a single pattern from the USA to Europe is prohibitive, so I will not be able to make the pattern but I congratulate you and all at ByAnnie involved in this useful bag. I can see how useful others with access to your pattens may find it.

Hi I love all of your patterns but I live in Australia so how do I get this pattern? If I order it on line it’s going to charge me $455 to post
