His hat! As long as you do not laugh at his sunhat (I am trying to keep his skin out of the sun whenever we can) ... Thanks for watching!

Thanks Dave. Keeping the waves under the hull is better than squeaky marina mooring lines for sure. Thanks for watching

Mate, one thing I have to comment on is that the wind will not be able to blow the swell flat.
@SailingPluto4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jan-Hendrik, Christo here. Have a look at this article: www.wmo.int/pages/prog/amp/mmop/documents/JCOMM-TR/J-TR-21-WWSS-CAR/DOCUMENTS_JCOMM/005_Presentations/01_Warren.ppt I must add that the reduction in swell I was referring to could also be attributed to dissipated swell energy after a passing weather system, of which a change of wind direction would have been a symptom. The degree of swell reduction due to spent energy or opposing wind is something best debated over a beer. I’m no expert and always keen to learn.

I live in Langebaan (Gauteng expat) and September, although the flowers are absolutely stunning, is quite windy and rainy. It's winter here. Enjoyed your video very much. You should come this way again when it's warmer and have lunch/dinner/breakfast at the seaside taverns, walk along the stunning beaches, and meet the amazing friendly people in the West Coast. @langies_forever!

Thank you Sanet - we did go back and spent almost a year in the area. The West Coast summers are stunning for sure! Enjoy your beautiful area. It is a special place. Nichelle
