Hi Abdullah, thanks for this video, I really like all of ur videos... please don't mind but today I want to bring one point to ur notice regarding this video...at the ppt, posting date is mentioned as example of fixed characteristic, which is not. As per my understanding any date should not be any characteristic(fixed or user defined) and I think SAP doesn't allow it too...please correct me if I m not correct... Regards

Hi Vikas, Thank you for this note! you're absolutely right Posting date can't be a characteristic, the maximum we can do in SAP is activae the Posting Week (not recommended) Thank you, keep up the great work!

When operating concern is generated, system will create ABCOPA characteristics fields in ACDOCA Table. Does these fields in ACDOCA appears in margin analysis fiori app too ?

Hi Alejandra, When posting the billing doc we get the financial entry of Dr Customer / Dr discounts / and Credit Sales revenue right? all the lines will go to ACDOCA with all the characterstics (customer, channel, etc) the value of the sales revenue line is calculated based on the price conditions in the sales order, so I would say the answer to your question is yes.

Please explain the business benefits of COGS/Variance splits. Other than splitting the original values as per the standard cost how can we use those values for better business decision.

When we split the values based on the cost estimate, we can see the Variable and Fixed Production costs sperately and this is very important for correct decision making as fixed production costs don't change based on quantity while the variable ones do, so if for example we ask "If we produce less, will this lower our cost?" to answer we need this split
