every time you show the south jetty. I remember way back in the day I was 18, I'm 66 now. probably 240 back then, how many times I slipped on those rocks. i finally started to wear golf cleats, the cheap ones. they grabbed like suction cups. even on those big angled ones near the water edge. we would put them on take our mesh back-back with sandwiches, cokes or beer, cast net, and a pocket radio. no more falling we ended up making it to the coast guard station. one area before the station, if we stayed to long would have to wait for the next change to walk to. yep, we were crazy back then. back then gold,silver and the striped 1/2 oz and 3/4 oz took the nod over tails. thanks for reminding me what great times that jetty had for us back then. would never try it now. pc of iron now in the left ankle, heel, 17 screws but what fun we had back then. thanks love seeing the canal fishing.this year did you catch any over 19" , we never did. nothing but dinks.. i know this was long but thanks roy

While your right about immediately tagging the red, who keeps has a dry pen on the jetty? Most of the time the GW will cut you a break at least until you get on sand.
@MDLRFishing3 жыл бұрын
That’s what they’re banking on too. Because if the warden isn’t there to enforce the law. They’ll save their tag to exploit our resources and pull another red.
