This story really does need an update. Those big companies like Blackstone are buying EVERY property they can get now. And there's a difference in mobile and manufactured which is part of that lot rent and whether a mortgage company will lend on it. Single wide mobile homes are hard (but not impossible) to get a mortgage on. Double wides can get loans with certain mortgage companies who want to lend on them and manufactured homes are considered fine with MANY mortgage companies. Also the biggest issue with moving mobile homes is you generally can't get a mortgage if you move it. A lot of lenders and their investors require you to take the wheels and hitch off. And once it's been placed and titled at one address, it can't be moved, or it becomes ineligible for funding through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two biggest mortgage buyers in the country. So people who are trying to move their home out of a park to get away from the predatory groups get trapped unless they can qualify for specialty loans which may be harder to get.

Mobile homes and manufactured homes are the same thing. Modular homes can be treated like regular stick built homes as long as they are off frame.

I lived in Santa Cruz Ca for many years and that is what exactly I the mobile home parts. One looked over the ocean for some spaces. They were costing over 4,000$ a month and that was 10 years ago. The rest of the rent was a little lower, but not. People could not move out or sell their mobile homes. Of course most of the people were retired as it was above 55 old restricted

Yeeeah buying a new mobile home is one of the worst moves I've ever made. And we bought our house from Clayton Homes too. We're feeling every bit of this, including the fucking landlords raising the rent and finding more and more shit to charge extra for. Between our high mortgage rate, these pricks constantly raising the lot rent and then some, them finding more shit to nit pick the residents for and fine them for, I'm over this shit. It wasn't too bad at first, but had I known what we were getting ourselves into and what this would turn into, I would've never moved us into that home. I would rather still be living in our tiny, crumbling, shitty apartment that we were living in before than deal with the shit we're dealing with now.

They are still putting them on KZbin just a few days later instead of the next day. I think its like Thursday. This is specifically the LWT Library so that all of the old shows are available because they do not have them on streaming. Hope this helps!

I seem to remember that earlier this year, John tweeted about them fighting for being allowed to post the episodes on KZbin on Mondays again, but it's a disagreement between the LWT staff and HBO, so there's now a 4 day delay to get them for free on KZbin. I think that's part of why they bought the rights to the old episodes, so that they're able to post episodes in full when they want. Also, they only post old episodes on the weeks where there is no show anyway (bcus of misc. hiatus/holidays) so instead of a week of no content at all we get a whole entire season that many people haven't seen in full before. I do understand your frustration, but for anyone seeing your comment I just wanted to highlight that the people who run this show are really actively fighting for making all this content accessible for free (!!) as soon as they're legally allowed. They're also not withholding any new content, new episodes are only delayed by 4 days - which is not much in my opinion, but is also something John and the crew didn't like and are trying to prevent. In light of all that, it feels unfair to imply the creators are being scummy about all this.
