Brands needs to advertise their products, so if they invest in say team orangutan, how will they make sure it reaches the audience? We dont see players, we only see their character in game and their name...... FTX invested in tsm and requested the name changed from TSM to TSMftx ..... thats the only way i can see brands can promote..... Esports is a shit place to promote your product, thats why despite having huge audiences... no esport org is in profit

I really don't know why they're saying no money.... If they're saying playing four investment and its return then definitely no money. But if you incash their value and streaming you'll get enough. Have you seen any eSports player without sneakers worth less than 20k on lan? They'll are enjoying good amount . Any stupid tournament has watching of 50+k everyone is earning re they're just want more 😅

A player or a creator earning money doesn’t mean that the org is profiting ….that’s their point orgs all over the world are facing the same problem …the creators and players are earning gd amount from their streaming and winnings championship but the orgs aren’t….so it’s like company workers are getting paid but the company as a whole isn’t making profit

@@lifeofbokda4371 most famous orgs like cloud9 TSM EG optic Nrg are all in a place where they make almost no profit but they r still in it cuz the possibility of the esports scene growing in future is a probability they all can’t ignore….During crypto inflation all orgs all over the world got shit ton of money and they profited like never before ….but now when crypto is down they are all suffering cuz even tho their players are getting paid the business men who are putting money in the orgs aren’t getting profit…so until they stop paying their players and streamers a lot of money the orgs aren’t earning shit most of them are just breaking even…S8ul godlike are diff cuz they are creator owned orgs and most of the creators gets paid from sponsorship and streaming but as a org they don’t profit much…one of the reason why fnatic pulled back from pubg mobile and dropped scout’s team its cuz scout owais were making profit but fnatic as an org weren’t

a streamer and an org have splits decided it can be 70/30 or 80/20 depending on the situation but it mostly leans towards the streamer favour. streamers makes a lot money for himself more than his/her said org and even the org has to pay monthly salary for the streamer.

Bhai there is a huge difference between players earning vs org earning, org provide all the platform to flourish esports players and to make that happen org need to provide high speed internet, bootcamp, food, devices and what not, also when a month end comes all the esports player get salary where as org get money only when a tournament is won by the roaster and that too after TDS being deducted, so initially all the org burn money to show circus thinking one day they will be profitable, any bigger businesses like PayTM, PhonePay, amazon, flipkart, uber, swiggy all were loss making org/companies for many many years thinking some day they will become profitable, some org succeeds and some fail and shut down their business or org.

Okey brands do not pay anywhere close to cover salaries. The salaries the athletes are paid are staggering. Example: Anna (Velocity's owner if you didn't know) has explained it very well in one of his videos on profitability with respect to their Valorant team.
