Roots and Refudge says “Turn your waiting room into a classroom”. Loved this interview. Very wise young lady. 🥰

What a great interview. Kayla is such a smart young lady. So refreshing to hear so much wisdom come from a younger generation. Her mother should be very proud. We definitely would be a better nation if our children loved learning. Great job ladies. So inspiring ✨️

Quite interesting topic. Thanks for pursuing this aspect. Our future deserves us helping and teaching them how to prepare for their safety and survival.

That is one young lady with wisdom even some "old" folks don't have. Wish I could go back 50 years and be as smart as her!!

Please let Kayla know that in her podcast with you, much wisdom from a 21 yr old. I feel the desire to homestead and we have 4 acreage. Just got to Nigerian twin brothers at 6 months old. And want so much more. I feel I'm in the waiting and sometimes forget to appreciate what I have and where I'm at. So I'm 47 and she reminded me to take charge of my time and myself, appreciate where I'm at and put the work in. Research and grow if not on my starting mini homestead then fill my head with what I'm going to need to know and also, on what I have I may not know as much as I should. So thank you, Jill said it right your mindset is old school. And very absent in the last several generations. So I appreciate you and keep striving and pushing yourself also taking ownership, it's huge.

What an amazing and beautiful young women. While raising my kids on a ranch and working many different jobs all in agriculture 🤪 all at the same time my kids had a very strong work ethic. They had no choice and we always loved it but I wish we had slowed down a little so we could appreciate it more. I love the advice to be grateful for what you have in the moment and be patient. I’m sending this interview to my daughter. Thank you 🥰

How cool... they're the ages Kayla was when she started a business and then when she started managing our family's homestead :)

Hi Kandi, I'm Kayla's proud momma. :) I wrote a little about our family's move from suburbia to rural New England here: soulyrested.com/2015/12/05/following-directions-part-2/ but our family is still in New England. Just Kayla moved to WY, to work with Jill.
