That dress is stunning! I came here looking for the pants, but stayed to see your dress. I’ve been half keeping an eye out for suitable fabric to come on super-special because of how much it needs, but so far nothing has taken my fancy. You’ve inspired me to look again.

I’ve made one in woven which I wear all the time, and one in knit fabric, and completely agree about the sleeve being ‘portable’ to other dresses, I’ve used it about 7 times, usually with 3 inches added to length. Thank you! 😊 I love that you are not afraid to take the pieces and parts of patterns that you love and run with it! I never considered this in a knit, did you go with a stable knit? I’d be nervous about the weight of the tiers dragging the dress down! Please share more

Chann, you absolutely got it! WIth the drop sleeve, I find that the sleeve goes in so easily!, the color is a single piece, not a two piece collar, so its easy installation. If you have aserger you can gather the tiers on the serger to make that easier, and I "snipped and ripped" my fabric to the correct length which made cutting the bottom tiers so easy to cut (but it does make a mess with loose threads, but it was worth it, because trying to cut a shift fabric would've been more of a headache for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
