Hello. You sell a tip with a resistance of 2.5 ohms separately. This tip can replace the original jbc tip in terms of characteristics and quality. Which 2.5 ohm tips do you recommend, your tip or the original? Or are there alternatives. Please give me a comment. Since a lot of bad tips with a short resource and characteristics that do not correspond to reality are sold on aliexpress.

Vocês poderiam mandar uma lista de fontes de alimentação recomendadas para usar 100% do S99, como essa de C135W da Lenovo? Já testaram o C170W no S99, se sim, funciona melhor que o C135W ou consegue funcionar igual?

Can you make the PID circuit to operate two c210 cartridge simultaneously at (65+65)=130 watt. I can modified the handle for c210 cartridges. If you do this please use a simple alternate DC Power input which can be solder direct with the circuit board. It will be very useful for a transformer based linear power supply with constant voltage constant current module. At first I thinking about pairing the hot tweezer handle with a t245 based soldering station (130 watt) but later I found in internet that the C-210 tips operating at 12 volt and the C-245 tips are operating at 24 volt and the resistance of both tips are different also thermocouples are placed different one in parallel and another is series so it can not be possible. Please make this circuit or hole hot tweezer.

Hi Sequre team. I'm a happy owner off two S99 soldering irons. Tried to use then with a Lenovo C145W charger, and they didn't work. As soon as I press the front button for the iron to heat the S99 re-start. As you sirs show that the S99 iron works with the Lenovo C135W, and my charger has even more power, what could be wrong? Appreciate if you sirs can help me please.
@SequreTech11 ай бұрын
Hello, this is mainly related to the IC scheme used by the power source. 2.5Ω heating transient current at 20V to 8-9A will restart if the power supply cannot handle the current instantaneously. We have also actually tested that C145W is not very compatible, and C135W can work perfectly compatible, which is related to the design scheme of the power source.

@SequreTech team, thanks for the prompt response. As I fall in love with my S99 irons, I'll order a C135W charger to use with then. Congratulations on the great products that Sequre offers to the market.

Can the S99 use the 2.5Ω tips with a 100W 20V/5A PD charger? Or would it try to draw 8A and shut down?

What maximum voltage and amperage power supply I need to use to have 150w with this cable xt60 to usb-c?
@swissfreek8 ай бұрын
If you’re getting a variable power supply and intend to run it right at 21V, you’ll need 7.4 amps to hit 150W. In the video you can see it will actually hit over 160W with some tips. So assuming you’re using a 24V power supply with a regulator, an 8A power supply (180W) would be the absolute minimum you want to get. I’d probably look for a 24V 10A (240W) power supply to be safe. Then you could couple it with a DPS5020 regulator which can handle the voltage and current the iron will need at full power to bring the voltage down to 21V. Or just use a 5S LiPo or LiIon pack. Even with a 4S pack you’ll still get 90W at nominal voltage and 115W when it’s fully charged, which is plenty for just about anything you’d do with this as long as you’re using the right tip for the job. And unless you get a teeny tiny pack, it’ll for sure be able to put out 8A peak current.
