Yes, we have a CAD system with many features for all departments, including citations written by officers that go on the Civ's records, incident/accident reports, et cetera. And we're always adding to it.

I'm always CAR 2 if I'm in a command vehicle, but in apparatus like TOWER 5 or MEDIC 5, I go by those callsigns according to our protocols. So, even though I'm driving CAR 1, my callsign is CAR 2 because just driving the vehicle doesn't make me THE chief, lol

Yeah, and probably none of the mods we use would work on console. Like, at all, lol. Make sure it's a high quality laptop though! The reason my desktop runs it as smooth as it does is because I have a GTX1070 and 16GB of RAM....a lot of laptops have trouble with FiveM/GTA so you'd have to spend a good chunk to get good performance!

hey i just subscribed! im a ocrp fan (jeff fav) not many can compete with the rp content he produces but you've been the first ive seen to even imo surpass some of his material! gg! i also think you all should get a new lighting pack. like the ones ocrp uses. it's more realistic as it shines on the surrounding area and it doesn't have that over the top glare that shouldn't be there at day yah know? maybe it's a personal preference but eh! anywho good vids

SA'F is open, it's certain departments that are closed. If you mean FD, it is currently closed, however Civilian and/or Dispatch is a great entry into the community, and very recently we had opened applications to FD for current members to join us as their Primary Department. Getting your foot in the door and showing us what you've got as far as RP is involved, goes a long way in getting to join the department you want when a position opens. Waiting on the outside might not yield a position with how full FD's membership is.

Just to keep it simple, people know me as Car 2 so it's easier to identify me on the radio. Letting dispatch know that I'm assuming command just lets me know I'm the highest ranking on scene and should be the one contacted for anything. Good question, thank you!

I will never understand why people continuously ask me this question. DOJ it's not better then any other community. Every Community is different, and it is not a competition despite how many people like to pretend they are superior and throw wild claims around. I love SA'F, and I will stay with it for as long as it exists, and even if one day it does not there are communities out there that fit my wants and needs more than DOJ. Just because it's one of the most well-known does not make it Superior.

The point I am making is, that I get numerous questions every video about joining DOJ. I've actually had to block the term "DOJ" on my comment section because of how much it happens. People don't understand that it's kind of a nuisance and absolutely ridiculous to ask me if I would join another Community when they are literally posting on a video that showcases the community I am already in. If you want to see DOJ content, there are many people who post those things on KZbin. I am not one of them, and I will continue to represent this community, SA'F, with pride.
