After nearly 4 years of marriage with my Filipina wife, I can handle most social pleasantries OK in Tagalog, but speaking it fluently has eluded me so far. This lesson in "SA group" pronouns opens a new door to just how differently the western and Filipino cultures see, understand, and express things. Maraming salamat! 🇺🇸❤️🇵🇭

Similar to Spanish, you have to flip it in your head before you try to find the words. Flip, Find, and then try to express it. The way I do it, is TRY to speak a little like Yoda. Also, just for a factoid, they don't see it as any "different" way of understanding things, if you learn to speak like this at first, it isn't flipped or it doesn't sound at all messed up and in fact, we sound like we are flipping things. It makes sense to me to locate the object in your mind first and then describe the color of it or anything about it. Locate the person first, then speak about what you are talking about. It makes sense if you just sit and think about it for a minute.
