These BMW's are the South African homologation specials called a 325is Evolution. So this has the 155kw version instead of the earlier 145kw version. It was basically an Alpina C2 engine, though this Evolution version of the 2.7 engine had a few upgrades, including the throttle body from the e34 535i.

These Opel Kadett's are also homologation specials. Please can the SuperBoss experts give more detail. What I know is that these ones were breathed on by Swindon in the UK. They were very powerfull and the quoted 125kw was highly likely understated. From what I have picked up over the years, they likely made 135 to 140kw. Very strong for a roadgoing 2.0 16v unit.
