Hi, and thanks for your training. I learn better with you than Bec videos. There is a chance to know how and what I have to do and the steps for FsoE communication between two EL6900? TKS

Thanks for watching! I never did cross safety communication between two EL6900. I am also concern if the EL6900 can do it. May be EL6910 could do. But I would recommend using hardware do the signal cross exchange.

Thanks for the amazing series (again). I have a question. What is the function of the Valve at A and B? To control a cylinder inside the cell or to control the rotation of the table? I mean, I would just consider to disable the air supply in the conditions you describe.

"Valve at A and B"? could you please show me which min in the video? I guess you are asking about the 13:53 the "TableASideAtOperatorA" "TableASideAtOperatorB", they are the signals coming from a safety limit switch (dual channel) shows the the table is towards to the outside (at operator). A and B are the dual-channel from this sensor. dual channels are safety SIL level requires.

@@electricalautomation Thanks for the quick answer, I meant the two FBs called FBValveAtTableXSideEnable, from the minute 8:11 in the previous video (SA 09 - EP 07) What is the function of that valve? Thanks for your amazing work by the way. I'm doing my degree final project based on Beckhoff safety applications and your videos have helped me a lot

@@replicante1214 I got it, you were asking about the 8:11 from (SA 09 - EP 07) one video before this one. That Function Block named "SafeMon", this is a typical circuit design and safety programming style, which is used to monitor the relay feedback (I called EDM signals), and control safety output channel for the relay. For example, if the relay shows sticky, giving it ON control (Left of the SafeMon), but the ON feedbacks from relay are time out or delay, the output of this Function Block (right side output) will turn off the output control to be OFF, even if your control command (left of the SafetMon) is still ON.

@@replicante1214 Please review "SA08. EP06 Beckhoff Safety TwinSAFE - Connect Safety Outputs to Safety Function Blocks", I explained the details of SafeMon Function Block concept kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGrElHWZaa-KqMU

Est-ce que je suis le seul idiot à trouver ça TRES compliqué ? ....😥
@electricalautomation2 жыл бұрын
It does complicate. If I could have choice, I would rather using siemens S7-1200 Safety for the safety control. The key reason you are seeing this complex is that the EL6900/6910 is a standalone safety ONLY controller, therefore you have to do many complex configuration steps to exchange signals between safety PLC and Standard PLC. Siemens and Allen Bradley they are PLC and Safety compacted, so programming is much more easier.
