A car lover especially SAAB, based in Japan.
Born in 1991. Have an experience of oversea study in Lund, Sweden for 1 year.
Now I'm working in Investigation firm of the car industry in Tokyo.
In this channel, I will show and share the experiences through movies and binaural sound of SAAB 900 turbo. SAAB brand has been disappeared, however, I can show what it is like to own a SAAB, as long as I maintain well and drive it. That is a one of the missions for me to upload on KZbin.

I have had at least 10 Saab’s over the years except a green ugly duckling little wagon back in the 80’s. Unibody. Now I have a 1990 white Saab convertible turbo, a red 1990 turbo 5 speed, a 2003 convertible turbo. I can’t seem to get them out of my head. It’s the drivability, style and omg, what can I say. Addiction.

Have to agree. I’ve been lucky enough to have had 4 over the last 40 years or so. I’m hanging on to my 22 year old 9-5 Estate for as long as I can. They get into the blood.

I was about to think that there are a lot of european classics on japanese highways until I saw that they were all part of the gathering you were attending. Beautiful shots, especially the telephoto ones - I am jealous of your weather!

Yes, they are. It's a bit unnatural situation on highways. This video was shot in Summer. But I know what you are talking about the weather. I lived in Sweden for one year and experienced dark and cloudy months. Still I think it was beautiful!

復活しましたね！車の調子はどうでしょうか？冬場はサーブの活躍の場です。身体に心地よい暖房の暖まり方は、国産の車ではまだ知りません。ハンドルの重さや排気音は五感にベストで、どこか遠くに行きたくなりました。どうやら６号線を北上してますね。実は私も同じようにサーブで走っていました。懐かしいですね❗おや？新型で前期のサーブですか❓これまたチョー懐かしいです。サーブの中でも壊れにくいタイプでした。事故で手放しましたが、まだまだ走れました。まさかこんなサプライズのある動画を提供していただき、目からじわじわしてます！！ありがとうございます。

まだ復活はしていないんですよ。。夏に撮影したもので、しばらく眠っていたのを編集したやつなんです。でもサーブの暖房の効き具合や落ち着く感じは本当にその通りですね。浜辺で隣に止まっているのは、c9-3の初期のモデルです！

I have ran in to one of this guys videos before and was pleasantly surprised. But watching this video when I’m supposed to be sleeping (it is 02:45 in the morning here in Sweden at the time of writing this comment), anyway this video made me go “hold up those are the types of guys I would hang out with, but in Japan”… Other thoughts that went through my head.. I need to go out and drive my weekend car more. This is what it must be like when Japanese guys se “us” “westerners” gather and hang out with Japanese cars, this is basically the opposite of the normal, the roles are reversed. Strange that I thought about how weird that would be earlier today… Car’s is a really international thing, great to know that I probably could find company if I ever find myself in Japan, preferably with my weekend car (which is highly unlikely).

I appreciate to your comment! It's actually very nice to hang out with someone who have similar interests. For me, it's a gathering of 80-90s European cars. Of course, I like some Japanese cars, but European engineered vehicles are more touching for me. It's truly very interesting to think that people loves and gathers for cars in a place far from their origins. Very nice comment.

@@SAAB900Japan Thank you, both for the reply and the great video, I hope to see more in the near future. As for my personal preference when it comes to cars, I personally prefer early 2000s, mainly European stuff, with a particular interest in the Volvo P2 platform, since that is what I grew up with. But I really like other cars too, like the OG Saab 900 for example. One of my friends use to have a OG 900S I think it was, the 140Ps (metric horsepower) naturally aspirated, so not as special as your Turbo and definitely not as clean, but still stood out in traffic. I fondly remember that time it threw both belts on his way to school and how we fixed it in the school parking lot after school. Thanks yet again for the great video and your reply.

Ah I just noticed, you are driving an LHD car and Japan has left hand drive. How does that combo feel? Lovely looking saab though!

It's nothing special if we get used to. But it's easier to move close to roadside, which is good point. For negative point, I often get out to get a parking ticket when entering parking lots, because the parking ticket machines are often installed on only right side.
