SAAB SK-37 Viggen (Sunday) @ southport airshow 2019

Day 3 was a fantastic day, yet again weather wise and displays. The last ever Tucano display happened right here at Southport but was fantastic for the display session to end in style with the Typhoon closing the show.
I Apologies that there was a lot of people that was at the show and also was hard to not get peoples heads in the way.
Been taken over by the JAS-39 Gripen, the viggen was the first to use the front wing swiped and was the most advanced fighter till the introduction of the Panavia Tornado.

Alot of people complain that they fly slow with Viggen, it's because it's a veteran plane with less maintenance and before, it's not even close to what it can do, check out older JA37 videos when it was in service.

Its a SK-37 Viggen s/n 37809 unfortunately today no JA-37 is airworthy

The JA 37 was basically a Gripen, but Gripen did everything Viggen could cheaper, so government had a choice, they chose Gripen.
