Jon D honestly, yes. I do agree with you wholeheartedly. Infiniti seems to be having issues balancing its luxury and sport aspects. It's on its way, but it has yet to reach Mercedes amg, audi, or even bmw's level of performance like they want. However, I feel that within the next 4 years or so they'll be an exceptional contender.

iaai Let me explain this to you two idiots. In the recent past, the numbers after the letters told you the cylinder volume of the engine. But quite recently, mercedes decided that these numbers should indicate performance level instead, because of downsizing which would make the names look less impressive. The "45" in "CLA45" only represents the performance of the car, and not cylinder volume. As i stated earlier the CLA45 AMG is a two litre inline four.

I understand MB is trying to go in a new direction but I'd take a used C63 AMG with the good old 6.2 liter V8. When you hear any AMG start up with that V8 motor all you think is "Dat growl!".

I love this car to bits. However I'm not so sure about the near ~$60k asking price with options such as navigation, push-button start, parking sensors, back-up cam and pano-sunroof. Kind of ridiculous how they aren't included in a car costing more than a 335i & MB's own C400. Which is probably why I think the Audi S3 is a better buy for its price.

I'm a big MB fan, but that navigation in the interior is so incredible ugly! It looks like some aftermarket navigation. The all new C-class is much better looking.

Lovely car, lovely looks, interior and exterior, nice noise as always, The only thing is the price. It's just a slight bit too much. If it were about £35g it would be better. By the way, why does everyone keep banging on about American cars? 1. No one drives American cars in Britain and 2. They're no where near as good as German cars. Whatever the price. AND it's the fastest V4 in production.

The people who complain about this car are definitely above 40yrs of age. This car is for young adults ranging from 23 to 35yrs. This is the best car out there that is close to an expensive luxury sports car period.

My main problem with this vehicle is that you would really have to be a Mercedes fan to buy it because it really is an entry level vehicle for the AMG range.Otherwise great car indeed for a 4-cylinder.

I own this car in Northern Lights violet. After all was said and done I spent $67,000 not included the extra $4500 for the 7 year 150,000 warranty I signed up for because this car is for sure going to have issues. I did not get the sport seats, or sunroof, or carbon fiber trim to save a few thousand dollars. If grabbing attention as you drive down the road then this car is for you. If you aren't looking for the attention get a C63 AMG.

Jonathan Delgado Honestly most of it is that screen on the dash that looks just tacked on, like a portable Garmin GPS. It sticks out and destroys the line. I guess also because this is a bargain basement model, and who aspires to that? If I ever own a Mercedes I want an SL! :D

Well, if you tick all the optional extras boxes you will end with 65k price. Basic CLA45 is 50k I think without extras.

Sounds like an Alfa 8c or a Jaguar F Type with the crackling in the exhausts when in sport mode and I was also quite surprised to see that the gearshift is the same one as in the SLS oh and Happy New Year aswell man!! Can't wait to see what's coming up!

For design (exterior - interior) and engine, this car is awesome. But, it has some areas and details of plastic at the interior horribles for a Mercedes. Even more if it is an AMG. Thank you Kyle for all videos and happy new year!!! I want to see the new Range Rover/Range Rover Sport.

Very nice. The only other 4 cylinder that I know that puts out high HP is the 305HP Impreza STi. But 355 is impressive. It puts out more HP and Torque than most V8s. I'm very curious about the next gen Audi A3/S3.

Is it a US requirement that the protective glass/plastic covering on the indicators is orange? It's the one thing that I really prefer about the version we get in the EU, the bulbs are orange but the housing is not, so it blends alot better with the rest of the headlights.

The c43 has a v6 and it’s faster (in my opinion it sounds better) but the cla is usually cheaper and you can pick them up for as low as 20k the it comes up to personal preference.
