Jaime Blanco 😂 it's 💩 quality, German/Japanese now that's quality, not this American Junk!
@Eldomibori6 жыл бұрын
Ginge1990 Lol German? Quality? That’s funny. Most German cars such as Benz, VW, and BMW have parts that constantly fail and cost an arm and leg to fix. A German car won’t outlast it, and that’s a fact. Parts on this Jeep are simple, not overly engineered and affordable and can last a long time. It was built to last. And it does it’s job as I personally own one. It’s a 20 year old car and it runs amazing for its age. A lot of the 20 year old cars that you see in junk yards or on a tow truck are German.

Gas consumption really isn't bad. 14 mpg average but i straight piped mine with a chip and its nasty. Loud, fast, and bullet proof engine. Never got stuck and 4x4 a lot. Towing is good for my quads. I’ve had one of these for just over 4 years. Overall a good car. Very powerful and great in the snow. Very good interior quality. My only complaints are the bad gas mileage ( but kinda expected with a 5.9 V8 ) and that the feel of the steering is not the greatest.

Don't go cheap on your fluids. $120 on diff oil every 30K miles is a good investment. Get some good spark plugs and check the gaps on each one (.038) Make sure your electrical system is in good shape (wires, dist. cap, coil, alt). Clean the ground from the battery to the fender and spray some anti corrosive stuff on it. K&N FIPK wakes up the 5.2. Have fun, good luck

Definitely, especially for the amount of miles it has. My uncle found a 5.9 with about 30,000 miles! Unfortunately, that means it was not driven very often. It was left parked outside on by a coastal house for years before he bought it. It has differential issues, shocks issues, and power steering pump problems. Good thing he has two others though. Just picked up a 98 ZJ this past December with 150k on it, 4.0L Straight 6 4x4 and with the selec-trac transfer case of course...mine is a Laredo, however it was special ordered and actually is an Special Edition behind Laredo badges. Its in excellent condition, if you didn't know any better it looks like someone just drove it off the assembly line, its clean inside and out. The 5.9L V8 Limited was only offered in 1998, just a 1 year run, so they're pretty hard to find, and if you do find them they're usually trashed, but if you do find one that is in great condition grab it, they're great vehicles and that 5.9L V8 was the quickest SUV of its time...and its still pretty dang quick.
