2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour

This was the car that converted me from a BMW nerd to a Merc fan after test driving one this summer. It's just brilliant. Exactly what you should get when you want well engineered fun instead of over-engineered droll, which is what new production BMW's all seem to be these days. My favourite car in the world is still the M5 E39, but these new AMG Mercs have begun to close down the gap to that top spot.

Twinkie Cakey i got to see a brand new 2017 one the other day, its actually not that bad and the sound was just as brutal. Interior was definitely better than this one, had bucket style seats and two tone leather.

The major difference is MB poached the head of suspension development from Porsche, and he was put in charge of developing AMG. While you may not like the way the new one looks compared to the older model, it is a whole new ball game when it comes to handling and chassis dynamics.

That's exactly why I like this car as it's almost like a sleeper, won't turn a lot of heads but it will surprise many when you pull away. Another thing it won't attract the wrong kind of attention either (people who key cars or steal them).

Test drove this thing today on the 3rd of August 2013 Saturday, maaaaaaaaan! this thing flies, this thing is comfortable and user friendly, even seeing in front of the the car from the driver's cockpit is much easier than the BMWs with long straight hoods than Merc's medium low angled hoods. I like Mercedes.

I for one own a c250 and I also own a c32 amg. I have driven the c63 and I can tell you thier is a huge difference both performance wise and styling wise. You have to sit in both to appericant the amg models. Yes the regular models are great but, there is something about the amgs that just makes them amazing cars to own.

I work at a car dealership and I know your concerns. I had to drive a car where the key had not been programmed yet and there wasn't anywhere to insert the key into the ignition since it was push button start. All you do to start the car when the battery dies or the remote isn't yet programmed is put the remote up against the start button and push it. It sounds weird but I promise it works.

I think this is one of the best looking Mercedes'. The dimensions are just perfect! And the interior with the carbon fiber accenting and the awesome sport seats is just like a space ship or something. That's why I prefer Mercedes over Audi and BMW!
