Sameer takes a drive down to the city of "Brotherly Love" to visit a restaurant named after his Creative Director, Saad (just kidding!). "Saad's Halal Restaurant" is the most popular Halal Restaurant in the Philadelphia area. The owner, Saad gives us a snapshot of how he began his restaurant and takes us through the process of making two of his famous sandwiches, the chicken maroosh and of course the Philly cheesesteak! Find out why Saad's restaurant is so successful even when he closes down for a month out of the year! Sameer invites a special guest from Islamic Relief to join him in his feast !

This means if Sameer is eating meat then he has inquired if the restaurant serves meat that is slaughtered and prepared according to Islamic Laws (and prepared using halal ingredients). Sameer does not in any way guarantee the meat is Zabihah-Halal, he does his best to ask and inquire if it is. yeah Hala food is amazing there's this really great Hala place near my job here in Vancover Canada called Afghan Bakery and fast food restaurant and there food is Simlar all the dishes are fantastic even though it's fast food kababs and Doniars the Sharmwa Platter is my favorite it's really filling too and the food is really good and made fresh I can't wait to visit Philadelphia someday and check this place out love Hala food even though I'm a non Muslim

Saad's is truly wonderful food. I lived about a block from his restaurant and enjoyed his entire menu for many years! His cheese Stake puts those from Pat, Genos, and Tony Luke's to shame... only Jim's down on the river is comparable. And then when you are done, you go across the street to Manakeesh Cafe Bakery! Fabulous Lebanese pastry!

Subhan'Allah I am in San Fernando Valley (Encino) in California and I just called the restaurant and sure enough he was closed for Ramadan. I wish he can ship me these sandwiches and I really wish that Brother Saad will open restaurant here my me so we Muslims can eat REAL halal food and not these people playing with the word halal.

I had the cheese steak sandwich at this restaurant on July 8th 2019. Everything was just as described here in the video and the cheese steak was delicious unlike any I've ever had. Customer service was excellent. Now, my complaint is the next day I called on the phone, then ask about delivery because when I ate and I definitely saw a sign that said they have delivery. However .the person that answered the phone told me no delivery and I must be mistaken. He was polite enough, I thanked him and then hung up, then remembered I forgot to ask what day they have the rotisserie chicken. If you want rotisserie chicken they do not have it everyday. Well when I called back a few minutes later, my cal was picked up and then I heard click in my ear. Thinking it was an accident I called back, and the same thing happened. So I kept calling back, and each time the phone was picked up no one said anything , they just continued to disconnect me. So how they treat you to your face is different to when you call in as a customer. I did nothing to be treated this way over the phone. At all times during my first conversation, I was polite in asking my question, about delivery service and any comments that I made afterwards. what makes them feel it's alright to treat a customer differently over the phone then in person?
