Damn! This battle finally surfaces. I saw this battle from another video perspective back in the day, once. It was really long, if this is the same one I saw, it looked like it was in a gymnasium and the battle took place before that legendary Wake Up Show war between Hiero & Hobo. The video also had the cameraman following Saafir around the streets & what looked like some homeless dude walking up to Saafir talking about the battle, turned out to be Kwanzaa from Bored Stiff. This is some rare niceness, Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Saafir's flow was years ahead. He would've KILLED these Smack/URL and KOTD battlers. Arsonal,Tay Rock,DNA,Pat Stay, would die INSTANTLY if THIS Saafir was battling today! The only people I feel could give Saafir a fair fight would be Loaded Lux or Daylyt and THEY would get SMOKED!! Casual my dude though. Nobody seeing him on the on beat flow. Salute them BOTH!!

These dudes have to prepare and rehearse and have ample time to gather up and create material for a battle. They know who they have to battle and everything. Put them on a stage with no time to prepare or know who they're meeting against an MC whose use to destroying rappers strictly off the head ON SIGHT and they all get bodied.
