Fun fact: MTF Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox") usually enters sites in 3 groups of 3, meaning in SCP: Containment Breach, we theoretically would see 9 soldiers, but because they all look the same, the game kinda manipulates us into thinking we see different ones each encounter.

From what i know, 3 people are inside while the other 6 are guarding the gates. That's because they are 9 tailed fox, because 9 operatives. Althrough it can actually be fake because in SCP CB in gate A ending we see more than three soldiers.

I think these are in game, as they’re multiple voicelines that sound like they’re recorded by other VAs. It’s possible these were placeholders or were used for a 4th unit (which was cut probably for balancing reasons, and was instead lowered to a group of 3). I mean, there’s even a voiceline you can hear over the radio (iirc), where supposedly a NTF unit got snatched by 106.

It’d be nice if they added more things MTF NTF could do such as containing other SCPs and having better ai to track the player. More lines like this would also be cool. Seems unlikely though since most of the dev’s resources and time has been moved to barotrauma. To be fair, baro is a cool game.

SPOILERS. D-9341 was supposedly a former researcher who (iirc) went mad after figuring out what the “spiral gestalt” was. This spiral gestalt also gave him the ability to save and load a point in the timeline, which is the canonical explanation for said feature, and also why he was quickly demoted to d-class after the incident

I know this is very old but I’d like to say that the testing chamber is most likely a place where D-class were brought in to test SCP objects that are in light containment zone. For the 5A inlet it’s most likely the floor above the one we play on in-game as we only see it once in the intro as a d-class walks on it and then we see the same floor without anything inside on a few rooms such as the one with 173 killing two foundation personnel.

When they call D-9341 "test subject" it makes me think that the containment breach was staged to see how the player performs in that specific situation, like the whole thing is under close surveillance and being orchestrated. Also explains why in some of the endings they narration suggests giving him an SCP classification. They run tests on SCPs all the time, so this seems to be no different. Just a controlled situation on a particular item of interest

S.C.R.A.M.B.L.E is a system that uses augmented reality goggles that look for 096's face and scrambles the face into a complete mess to protect MTF units from viewing 096's face and triggering him. In the incident report on 096, Dr. Daniel's sabotaged the project to get an entire MTF unit killed by 096 to prove that 096 was too dangerous to be kept alive. In reality, SCRAMBLE gear is effective in preventing the reaction of 096 being triggered.

It would be effective if it wasn't sabotaged by Doctor Dan, and since SCP containment breach takes place likely after the 096 incident, the SCRAMBLE gear actually works now due to it being made to work properly.
