Thanks for good lecture Sir how secularism and social justice are related to positive or negative liberty and which political ideas claim for which one? In our country claims like 'minimum government and maximum governance ' is for negative liberty? But our constitution provide scope for social welfare state "directive policy of state" then how could these political claim are justified against constitution?

Negative liberty means an absence of an obstacle in an individual's affairs, in this case of a bird in a cage, the cage acts as a barrier for the bird to fly. Hence, it lacks negative liberty as there is a presence of barrier.
